We met over a decade ago at Totino-Grace High School, where we ended up in four classes together during sophomore year. What started as casual conversations between classes soon grew into something more, and we’ve been by each other’s side ever since.

After high school, we spent our freshman year of college in different places. Matthew pursued his goal of Division 3 lacrosse and the chance to live out of state, while Hannah, who had been on the dance team throughout high school, joined the team at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

By sophomore year, Matthew transferred to Duluth, where we both completed our degrees and made lasting memories.

We eventually moved to the Twin Cities, where Matthew is now a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, and Hannah is a teacher at Prodeo Academy. This past July, we moved into our first place together, excited for this next step in our journey.
