The cooler weather means you won’t heat up going uphill, the number of people on the trails decreases, and the views are hard to beat. If you want to stick to pavement, you can pedal around town or take a tour of the county on our bike path. If you’re looking for a bike ride with a twist, try out the beer and distillery fat-bike tour to sample brews and spirits from award winning local brewers and mixologists. Those who are more interested in taking in the views should sign-up for the Vail Pass Shuttle, a scenic downhill bike ride that drops you off at the top of Vail Pass and takes you back to Breckenridge after you arrive in Frisco."

Spring runoff is unpredictable, and summer monsoons can drop heavy rains leaving fresh water rivers looking more like chocolate milk overnight. In the fall, the weather and water conditions can often be more stable, leading to a nice stretch of amazing dry fly fishing. Head out on your own or sign-up for a full or half-day guided tour to get geared up, transported, and taught the secrets of casting and catching by a local expert.
