Flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX)

Welcome to our wedding celebration! We're excited to have you join us. Here are detailed instructions to help you travel from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport to Strawberry, Arizona.

1. Arriving at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX):

- Upon landing, follow signs to baggage claim to collect your luggage.

- If you need assistance, airport information desks are available in each terminal.

2. Renting a Car:

- Car Rental Center: The Rental Car Center is located at 1805 E Sky Harbor Circle South.

- Shuttle Service: Free shuttle buses run every few minutes from the curb outside each terminal to the Rental Car Center. Look for signs directing you to the Rental Car Shuttle.

- Rental Companies: The center houses major car rental companies such as Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, Budget, and more. Ensure you have your reservation details and driver's license ready.

3. Driving to Strawberry, Arizona:

- Distance and Duration: Strawberry is approximately 100 miles north of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, and the drive typically takes around 2 hours.

- Directions:

1. Exit the Rental Car Center and head towards I-10 East.

2. Merge onto I-10 East and continue for about 4 miles.

3. Take exit 147A-147B for AZ-51 North toward Piestewa Peak Parkway.

4. Merge onto AZ-51 North and continue for about 15 miles.

5. Take exit 13 to merge onto AZ-101 Loop East.

6. Continue on AZ-101 Loop East for about 7 miles, then take exit 30B to merge onto AZ-87 North toward Payson.

7. Stay on AZ-87 North for approximately 60 miles until you reach Payson.

8. In Payson, turn left onto AZ-260 West/West Longhorn Road.

9. After about 3 miles, turn right onto AZ-260 West/West Phoenix Street.

10. Continue on AZ-260 West for about 15 miles, then turn right onto Fossil Creek Road.

11. Follow Fossil Creek Road for about 2 miles to reach Strawberry.

4. Additional Tips:

- Fuel: Make sure to fill up your gas tank in Payson, as fuel stations are limited in Strawberry.

- Weather: Check the weather forecast before your trip, as road conditions can vary.

- Navigation: Use a GPS or map app for real-time directions and traffic updates.
