Colin and I had our first date at the Blue Heron Brew Pub in Marshfield, WI. Looking back, we can’t help but laugh at the fact that he brought me to a brew pub when at the time, Busch Light was the only kind of beer I would drink (A true classy Iowa gal, I know). Anyway, we had a few drinks and spent most of our time trying to come up with a story for an intoxicated couple across the bar who were making a scene. I can remember leaving that night with a sore stomach from laughing so hard.

Fast forward a year and Covid hit. I was off of work so Colin and I spent a lot of time hanging out at his family farm where his mom grew up. We eventually decided to move out there. During our time there, I had a few too many encounters with some unwelcome critters so we were on the hunt for a house of our own.

In August of 2022 I had to take a detour to work and stumbled upon the cutest little house just outside of Rudolph, WI. We took a tour of the house and knew it had to be ours and that it would be the perfect place to grow our family. At the time, it was just Me, Colin, TC, and Ozzy (our two cats). We spent about a year here before welcoming our little boy, Gus Patrick. He is the biggest blessing in our lives!
