Hannah Fagan and Brian Shirley first met in 2018 during their sophomore years at UMass Lowell. However, it wasn't for nearly two more years before they finally took a chance on each other after lots of work by mutual friends to set them up. On March 16th, 2020, the day before the entire country shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Brian finally asked Hannah to be his girlfriend after a lovely day in one of their favorite places, Portsmouth, NH. The following years were full of a great deal of change for Hannah and Brian, but they navigated it all together. Brian was there to support Hannah when she returned to school to seek her nursing degree, Hannah was in Brians corner when he started his career the following year, and Brian did the same another year later when Hannah finished her degree and took on her first full time nursing job. In between all of that, Hannah and Brian have strengthened their love through quality time. Whether they are traveling around New England to their favorite places such as Ogunquit or North Conway, or traveling internationally to Aruba or Mexico, they are constantly on the move and making the most of their time together. In May 2024, they were on a trip to one of those favorite places, Ogunquit, ME, when Brian mustered up the courage to finally ask Hannah to marry him! They are so excited to see what laughs and love lie ahead as they start this great journey together.
