On the night of Halloween 2007 I was told that an older boy wanted to meet me. I gave a mutual friend permission to give this boy my phone number and a few days later we started talking and hanging out sporadically. It started off slow but on Valentines Day 2008 he asked me to be his girlfriend. We dated all through out high school - we went on trips together, went to prom together, and spent almost every weekend together but ultimately decided to go our separate ways when we went off to college. We remained in touch through out the years and neither of us ever dated anyone else seriously. A few years after college we reunited at a wedding and have been inseparable ever since. It came full circle on Valentines Day 2021 when he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. In my eyes it was always him and I'm thrilled we get to share this life together. The best is yet to come!
