4th of July weekend we both visited Brian in Austin, TX with friends. It was a weekend for the books: fun on 6th St, drinking Dirty Bills out of Maddog 2020s, boating on Lake Travis, barhopping on Rainey St and of course, some mini golf and karaoke.

After Austin we parted ways and went back to our respective cities, not sure if we would see each other again. Luckily Pat booked flights up to NYC to visit. Hannah showed him the highlights of NYC, including the Prince St vodka slice and The Red Lion. The day after he left Hannah booked a flight down to Nashville.

And thus began 3 years of distance filled with countless airport flowers, 160 ~seamless~ flights, and one silver status on Delta.

During our weekend trips we squeezed as many activities in as possible and learned valuable things about each other, such as: Pat can't really swim, we both love the "apres" and the "ski" equally, volleyball is to be taken seriously, Hannah won't do much paddling in a kayak, despite what he thinks Pat cannot beat Reg in tennis, and Hannah has a lot of Bruce Springsteen in her karaoke set list.

Our first flight together! The benefits of dating a pilot in a long distance relationship should be that he flies up to visit whenever he wants. Instead, we flew for fun because we simply couldn't get enough air travel!

Pat proposed in the Conservatory Garden in Central Park and hired an amazing photographer (Anya) to capture the moment. We walked around the park and had dinner at Le Coucou ...

... followed by a party with friends and family to celebrate!!

After an epic NYC send-off, we sold Margaret's house, officially moved out of Clarksville, and hit the road!

After a 4 day cross-country roadtrip, we finally moved in to our home in Seattle!

With many trips back to the east coast in our future <3
