Q + A

It is, of course, entirely up to you and your family, but we have had many friends come down with Covid recently, so we are renewing our vaccines before the wedding. If you had planned to do so, here's a reminder!

Will there be a rehearsal dinner?

Yes! But not in the traditional sense. On Friday night, we would love to invite everyone to hangout with us at the Drury Plaza and enjoy a free kickback dinner/enjoy food from the full kitchen bar. We will begin around 5:30 in the lobby.

Where can I park for the wedding?

There is ample parking for the conservatory located at the Palm Lot. Please note that guests will only be able to access the ceremony space from the South East entrance located on Aida Place. https://comozooconservatory.org/visitors/directions-parking/

When will the wedding begin?

We ask that guests do not enter the Sunken Garden until 6:45 to allow the couple to take a few photos in the space. After 6:45 guests can file in on both sides of the pool. Please disperse yourselves as evenly as possible, so everyone has a chance to see the ceremony. :) The ceremony will begin around 7:00 PM and will end around 7:30 - 7:45 PM.

What is the reception timeline?

After the ceremony has ended, guests will be encouraged to follow signs to the Ordway Bonsai Gardens for the reception. Cocktail hour will last from around 7:45 to 8:30 PM. During this time heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.

What will food at the reception be like?

We will be providing heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert, but not a full meal. We would encourage you to eat an early dinner before the ceremony, and, if you are a hotel guest, take part in the free kickback dinner provided by the Drury.

What drinks will be provided at the reception?

We will be providing one glass of wine, on us (drink tickets will be passed out), and there will be a full cash bar for the remainder of the evening.

I listed a severe food allergy - how will it be accomodated?

We have worked with our caterer to ensure none of our food will be prepared with real butter for dairy allergies, and any other option that comes with cheese will be a la carte. For our gluten sensitive friends, there will be corn tortillas on the quesadillas provided. We will not be serving anything with shellfish/fish, and we will have coconut free dessert options. We are working to ensure everything will be properly labeled so you can enjoy every bite. :)
