In case you didn't know, Hannah and Hunter actually attended school together, and were even in the same kindergarten class. However, it wasn't until several years after graduating highschool and moving away from Marysville that Hannah and Hunter reconnected. Hunter attended the University of Cincinnati with his friend from home Jacob Dickman. Jake's then girlfriend, now wife, Danielle was long time friends with Hannah, who were roommates for a year in Lexington, KY. When Dani graduated college, she decided to relocate to Cincinnati to be closer to her boyfriend, but was in need of a roommate. Hannah, with no plans to stay in Lexington, agreed to move to Cincinnati to live with Danielle. Dani then decided that she thought Hannah and Hunter would make a cute couple, to which both responded with their lack of romantic interest in the other (Ha!). Dani planned any orchestrated gatherings with the group of four, deciding that frequent contact would make the sparks flow between the two. She was unsuccessful. She did however, pave the way for Hannah to join a new social circle of friends. Being new to the city, and not knowing many people, Hunter invited Hannah and her close friend Olivia (who also happened to attend UC) to his annual Halloween party. This eventually led to an invitation for Olivia and Hannah to join his team at Murphy's Irish Pub for weekly trivia. Hunter and his friends depended very heavily on Hannah and Olivia's extensive knowledge, and they all became fast friends. From attending hockey games together, to visiting Hannah at the bar, to getting group dinners together. it seemed like we saw each other constantly. Hunter and Jake hosted people at their apartment often, where Hunter and Hannah would (drunkenly) stay up until dawn because they didn't want the party to end. Hunter (finally) decided to ask Hannah to go see a Doors cover band, just the two of them. (He still insists that it wasn't a date, but as 'just friends'). This was followed by a series of "dates", one of which was the Union Station Terminal. This is the last date that Hannah and Hunter had before he asked her the following day to be his girlfriend on March 6th 2022.

Their relationship started on the basis of a strong and easy friendship, one that quickly developed into a romance once they eventually moved past their denial for one another (Thanks Danielle). Although their relationship has shifted, and will contiue to develop through the coming years, Hannah and Hunter will always remain not only as husband and wife, but as best friends.
