Daniel and Hannah met officially on August 27th, 2022 at Amanda Kepplin's graduate school graduation party. At the party, Daniel and Hannah hit it off by discussing both of their experiences living overseas as children. At the end of the party they parted ways but Catherine Pyle, Hannah's roommate and best friend, knew that there was something there.

It wasn't until early December of 2022 that Daniel organized an outing to the National Gallery of Art (one of Hannah's favorite DC locations) where Hannah was the only girl invited! She later found out that, of course, this whole event was planned around her.

They had a great time at the museum and then had their first date on January 16th, 2023. After that, the rest is history! No one can forget the famous King's church ice-skating outing where the whole church caught on that Daniel and Hannah were about to be a "thing". They were smitten from the beginning and officially became "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" on February 14th, 2023. They had their first kiss during a picnic on April 15th, 2023. Said "I love you" on September 2nd, 2023. And when Daniel popped the question on November 5th, 2023, Hannah of course said "YES!"

Hannah and Daniel thank God for bringing them together in such a divine way and giving them such loving family and friends to help pour into their lives and share in their joy and love for one another. They can't wait to join in marriage on May 4th, 2024!
