Sometimes, love takes its time. And sometimes, it arrives in a moment — clear, undeniable, and life-changing. For us, it was the second kind. From the very first time we laid eyes on each other, something clicked. It was love at first sight.

Our first date was a Cavs game — an exciting night that also turned out to be a little terrifying (especially for Hannah, who quickly discovered she was not a fan of high-up stadium seats!). While Hannah clung to the edge of her seat, Kyle sat beside her wondering if someone so incredible could possibly be real. It turns out… she was.

As our relationship grew, so did our bond — not just with each other, but as a family. One unforgettable day, Father’s Day, we spent “free styling” together, just having fun and being present. Hannah watched Kyle and her son Elijah together, laughing and connecting, and in that quiet moment, she knew: this was her person. For Kyle, it was a moment of vulnerability — after being injured at work, Hannah dropped everything and was by his side within the hour. That unwavering love and commitment sealed it for him.

On August 30th, Kyle gave Hannah the surprise of a lifetime. He took her to the beach, where her sister — secretly flown in just for the occasion — was waiting. As the sun danced on the water, Kyle played their song, and they shared a slow, sweet dance on the sand. After twirling her once more, Kyle dropped to one knee and asked Hannah to be his wife. With joyful tears, she said yes — and then he stayed on one knee a little longer, turning to Elijah to ask if he could be his dad. Another yes. Another forever.

Hannah loves Kyle’s quiet strength, his patience, his unwavering kindness, and the way he makes her feel completely loved and cherished every single day.

Kyle loves Hannah’s radiant smile, the sparkle in her eyes, the way she cares so deeply for the people she loves — and the way he still can’t hold eye contact with her too long without feeling overwhelmed by just how deeply he loves her.
