Laura Hanson (she/her) - Bridal Party/Maid of Honor
Hi I'm Laura (she/her)! I am Maya's sister, and I am so happy to soon be Hannah's sister in law. I am a people person and love caring for others, always trying to be there to help when I'm needed. While Maya got all the skills in math and science, and EVEN poetry and music, I can make a mean loaf of focaccia and I love to bring up the energy of a party with a bubbly attitude. I also have an adorable orange cat named Clementine who is about as orange-coded as cats get. I am SO excited for this wedding as I've been waiting for it for about 7 years!! I can't wait for Hannah to be officially part of the family.
Molly Garrison (she/her) - Bridal Party
I'm Molly! Hannah's twin sister. While I've known Hannah our whole lives, I'm happy to have gotten to know Maya over these 9 years. Hannah and Maya were able to help me celebrate my marriage to my wife and I'm thrilled to get to be there for their day. Welcome to the married club!
Ally Stevens (she/her) - Bridal Party
Hi friends, I’m Ally. Through thick and thin I can say with my full heart that Hannah and Maya are two of my most incredible and bestest friends in the world. Being in each other’s worlds for over half a decade has brought many laughs, tears and memories. Every phone call, cat photo and travel adventure has been so cherished in my memory. I am so proud of both of them and so excited to celebrate a love that has been built so strong! Congratulations on your big day Hannah and Maya.
Nina Woodroof (she/her) - Bridal Party
Hi I’m Nina (she/her)! I met Hannah and Maya in college (almost six years ago!) at first in passing when working the front desk at one of the dorms on campus and then directly at The House, when I first joined what I lovingly refer to as our D&D friend group. I’ve gotten the opportunity to befriend both brides in and outside of our time playing D&D, on many late nights talking and laughing, and on several incredible trips. I feel so lucky to call them some of my very best friends and can’t wait for many more crazy adventures together exploring the world, exchanging books, paintings, and podcasts, and losing ourselves in our D&D campaigns. Congratulations to our amazing brides!
Brandon Marolt (he/him) - Bridal Party
Hi! I’m Brandon and I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Maya and Hannah since 2017 when we met at school in Rolla. We met through mutual friends and continued to hang out whether it was playing horror games at our friend Olivia’s apartment, or getting margaritas at El Maguey’s. I truly could not be happier to be celebrating such a special day with two wonderful people.
Shannon Griffin (she/her) - Bridal Party
Hi, I’m Shannon! I met Hannah when we were randomly assigned as roommates our freshman year of college. I’ve actually known Maya for years, we went to the same middle and high school, but we didn’t become close until college. The three of us ended up living on the same floor in our freshman dorm and quickly became friends. We spent countless nights hanging out playing board games and watching movies (though I usually bailed early because I need my sleep).
Even though we’re now living on opposite sides of the country (or world!), I’m so grateful for our friendship and beyond excited to be part of their bridal party and celebrate this amazing day with them!
Rushali Malatkar (she/her) - Bridal Party
Hello, I am Rushali Malatkar! I was raised in St. Louis and still live here with my husband. I have known Maya since we were 11 years old and we met in 6th grade math class. I have loved Maya for so many years and I cannot be more thankful for her friendship! Once she introduced us to Hannah, the love just grew more! I am so excited to be a part of such a lovely couple’s wedding day! See you all on the dance floor!
Amelia Dorsey (she/her) - Bridal Party
I have known Hannah and Maya since 2016, meeting at the TJ Dorms at MS&T. My first time meeting Hannah, I thought she was Molly, from my time doing theater! While Hannah and I didn't bond over Tech Week, we've enjoyed many a game night together and I'm so glad I've been able to know both Maya and Hannah as their relationship has grown. I'm beyond excited to celebrate this cherished step with them! Cheers to Maya and Hannah!
Hank Matney (he/him) - The Man Marrying Us
I met Hannah and Maya during our time in college, where I first crossed paths with Hannah working as resident advisors and quickly got to meet Maya through Hannah. What began as a shared job quickly turned into a friendship built on late nights, laughter, and more than a few shared struggles. Whether we were navigating the chaos of work and school, rolling dice in D&D, or just being there for each other in the quiet moments, we grew close in a way that only happens when people show up—consistently, wholeheartedly, and usually with snacks and drinks.
Over the years, I’ve watched Hannah and Maya build something truly beautiful together: a partnership full of love, humor, and fierce loyalty. So when they asked me to officiate their wedding, I was beyond honored. Wedding them is more than a formality—it’s a celebration of a bond I’ve been lucky enough to witness for over 7 years.
Outside of this role, I’m an engineering manager, but today I’m simply proud to stand beside two of my favorite people as they take this next step—together.
