Hannah and Peirce both attended a mutual friend's birthday party (who is also Hannah's bridesmaid). Hannah gave Peirce back scratches for a good part of the night and when she had to leave Peirce was the only other person to get up and hug her goodbye besides their friend. He gave her a tight long hug and they both thought the other was cute but never exchanged numbers.

January 2017

Since that night Peirce kept asking their mutual friend Zoe about Hannah and to set them up on a date. She told him to follow Hannah on social media and talk to her that way. Reluctantly Peirce followed her on social media but didn't message her because it wasn't his style. Meanwhile Hannah was excited that Peirce had followed her and thought maybe he would ask her on a date, but he never did.One day Hannah, Zoe and another friend were all hanging out talking about her birthday party. They were all talking about how Hannah thought Peirce was cute and how they'd be a cute couple. Zoe offered to try and set up a date for them. She texted Peirce and asked him if he was free to go to coffee with her. Peirce texted back that he was busy. Zoe texted back and mentioned that Hannah was going to be there and then Peirce said he could make time to have coffee with them!

January 17, 2017

Peirce, Hannah Zoe and a friend all met at Starbucks. Ten minutes into the date, Zoe and the friend made up some lame excuse to leave. After they left Peirce and Hannah talked for 2-3 hours getting to know each other and asking lots of questions. At the end of their date he asked to go on another more official date the next day and for Hannah's phone number. She happily gave him her number and agreed to go on another date!

We went on lots of dates during this time and were excited to see where this could go but they both knew the other was special!

After dating for almost 3.5 years Peirce proposed! With lots of help from family and friends they decorated the gazebo with twinkle lights, fabric, pictures of Hannah and Peirce with a note written on the back of each one, candles and flower petals. Meanwhile Hannah thought it was just Peirce's birthday that evening until Lauren, Peirce's sister, told Hannah to change into a dress she got for her. She then drove her to Camas Meadows where Peirce was smiling and waiting to propose! Of course Hannah said yes and they were so excited to call each other fiancé! Shortly after that the wedding planning began!
