While Hannah was born 20-some years ago and Shaun was born 30-some years ago, they have known each other for over 15 years! Hannah and her family regularly vacationed with friends in the Outer Banks. Included in the group of friends was the family of co-best man, Ryan, who grew close to Shaun during their time at Penn State. Fast forward to 2016…Hannah had recently graduated from college and moved to Cleveland to begin her teaching career, while Shaun was settled in Ligonier after moving from York just two years prior. They reconnected over the Labor Day holiday while attending a cookout hosted by friends. They have talked every day since, leading to their first date the next time Hannah was back in town, less than three weeks later. After two years of long-distance dating, Hannah fulfilled her teaching commitment in June of 2018 and moved home to Ligonier to be closer to Shaun and her family. The next July, while on vacation in Cancun, Shaun proposed to Hannah on the beach after a private sunset dinner. They currently live in Ligonier with their dogs, Myles and Gus, and their cat, Lucille, and are so excited to continue to love each other through all of life's ups and downs.
