Though they both attended Oak Park High School, Hannah and Alexander did not become friends until after their graduations.

Thanks to their mutual friend Leah Gunn (Hannah's Maid of Honor), they kept in touch throughout the next 3 years after high school.

During Hannah's senior year of college, she reached out to Alexander two days before Christmas, thinking they might casually get the chance to see each other. Always having been interested in Hannah, Alexander quickly responded, and they ended up going to a legendary Oak Park hangout -- the Beanscene -- that very day. There was no better way for an Oak Park romance to begin.

At a New Year's Eve party (hosted by groomsman Andrew Cohen), Alexander and Hannah shared their first kiss at midnight -- their lives together began as the year 2016 did.

All that has come before are wonderful chapters in their journey together, and they are so excited to begin this new one.
