Our Wedding

A True Tinder Love Story 

Our story starts at the end of May in 2019 when Casey Super-Liked me, and I swiped right. We met sometime after that in person at the St. John's Town Center parking lot for a whole five minutes! It was a whirlwind of my crazy work-shifts , split shifts, my good friend graduating, sister getting married, other jobs and Casey 's new dive career. It didn't help that we lived over an hour away from each other. Casey was even sweet enough to come and meet my parents before our first official date!   Through a year of fun outdoorsy dating, water activities, beach time, movies, friends, and camping, we got to know each other. On July 3rd of this past year, Casey met with my dad and mom to let them know that we have been dating for a long time and it's time to take the relationship in another direction. My mom quickly smiled (well, more of an endearing smirk) said, Oh no! Are you guys breaking up?! With a cute grin, Casey assured her that that wasn't it.   Finally, on August 15th, 2020 while we were on vacation in St. Thomas, Casey bent down on one knee and with no more words than you would expect, asked the question; and of course I said, Yes!   We share the same views in our faith, politics, family, work ethic, and children/parenting. We enjoy doing the same types of outdoorsy things.   Even though we have opposite personality types, our differences together are what make us our best selves.   I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with this Godly man.   Hannah ❤

Our Story

10 miles /22 minutes from the church. This is not a modern hotel, but it is a fun RETRO HOTEL right on the beach with a pool and in the middle of all things known for downtown beach life.

Reasonable RETRO HOTEL for a different flair. Steps from the beach, and minutes from St. Augustine. The rooms are basic, but this would be a fun place to stay. It has a pool and the whole hotel lights up with beautiful 1960's ambiance at night. 21.5 miles, 31 minutes from the church!

This girl! We met the FIRST day we were on campus at UNF - even before we attended a class. I adored Paola right away She was fun loving, full of energy and enthusiasm, and always on her mark to take on life and the adventures it had to offer. Paola has been there for me during the great times and the "I'm glad they're over times." How blessed am I?!

Casey and Hauk became best acquainted during church functions, and have been great friends since sixth grade.  Water sports, wood working, planes, the hanger, camping, and quadding, just for starters. Hauk is a friend you can both count on and will always respect.

My sister-in-love for over 10 years! I loved Juli right away.  I first really  got to know Juli when I flew to Florida from Washington state to see Mario who was going to UCF.  I was 13.  Since Mario lived with a bunch of guys, I stayed with  his girlfriend, Juli and a bunch of girls. I got sun poisoning which resulted in my illness . . .  all over Juli's floor.  She cleaned it up, having never done sucha thing.  We've been connected at the heart every since!

Holly and I met through Paola during our Freshman year of college.  She has been with me through thick and thin, and is one of the most genuine and fun people that I know. However did I do almost a year of college without this girl?!  I am so lucky to have her in my life!  Too bad I have to go clear to Savannah to enjoy her now days, but she's worth it . . . Oh, and I love Savannah!

Taylor and I started our friendship during our Sophomore year of college when she moved down to Jacksonville from Kennesaw, Georgia.  We clicked instantly and have been joined at the hip ever since.  She is such a true friend.  I can always count on her to be 100% "real" with me!

Will has been a great friend to Casey since sixth grade.  He is one of those great go to friends who spent time with my groom through church, youth group, and during school days!

Jake has been my best guy friend since he moved to Jacksonville during my senior year of high school! We met through the Sharkapellas (our high school’s a cappella group) ; we have been inseparable ever since! I can’t begin to share all the amazing memories that we have, but most of them include playing piano, singing, eating, and playing Mario Kart!

My very first friend! Rylea will always be in my life.  We were born just two months apart and grew up for a large part of our lives on the same little street in Lakeland Village, Washington.  From training wheels, sewing our own clothes, climbing trees, hiking in the woods, nail polish, snow angels, school bus buddies, and first dances to all of our moves around the country, we have maintained our bond.  Always and forever, my Rylea she'll be.

Niece of the bride, Kylie is a ray of sunshine. She is brilliant, kind, precocious, and full of joy.  She loves Jesus, her family, and of course sleepovers with her Auntie Hannah!  Kylie has had three open heart surgeries.  I think that qualifies her as the toughest and bravest of all six-year-olds.

Cory is the cousin everyone wishes they had. She is kind, sweet, funny, sassy, and energetic.  I only wish she lived closer.  Courtney lives in Washington state, has had the same beau (Spencer) for six years, and is just finishing her AA. She is well on her way to becoming a dental hygienist.  Courtney can be a cute little farm girl with her country music or turn around and doll it up as THS homecoming queen.

My little cousin, Natalie . . .   I love this girl.  She was my baby cousin and now look how grown-up and gorgeous she is!  This girl can lock and load faster than most guys.  She is a-ama-zing!  Natalie can go from  homecoming princess to  wrestler to cheerleader to hunter chic (she's already bagged a couple of bucks)!
