Gene and Mike have been friends for years and share a very special sense of humor. We’re so glad Mike gets to be such a big part of our big day. We love Mike!

Ashley is Hannah’s future sister in law ,old co worker, and maid of honor. Hannah and Ashley have been friends since high school, and we love love love Ashley!

Jake is Hannah’s little brother, and best friend. They grew up together and stuck together through thick and thin! Jake will be standing with Hannah during her big day!  We love you Jake! ❤️

Tara is one of Genes best friends and a very special person to Hannah and Kanyon. She will be standing up with Gene on this special occasion. We are very excited for her to share this special day with us. We love you Tara!!

Terri is the person that brought Hannah and Gene together. She’s very important to both of them, and plays a huge role in their lives, as not only a very close friend, but definitely part of the family. We love you Terri!

Kanyon is Hannah’s son. Kanyon and Gene share a very special bond, and have grown very close. Kanyon will be taking care of our rings before the ceremony, and making sure nobody loses them. He can’t wait for our wedding and is very excited to have such a big responsibility. ❤️We love you Kanyon!!

Our story isn’t the most crazy or romantic, but it’s ours. We met through a wonderful person named Terri. She’s one of our best friends, and part of our family, and also one of the bridesmaids. It was a Facebook friend request and many many conversations, and smiles, and laughs over the phone that ultimately led to Hannah and Kanyon moving to Florida. Once Hannah got to Florida we spent all of our free time together and both realized very quickly that we were meant to be together forever. Gene proposed on Saturday, August 17th 2024. The rest is history that we both are more than excited to write together, as a family. ❤️

Travel

If you are coming from out of town, down town Sanford is definitely the place you want to visit before you leave. It’s a beautiful town with many small shops and fun restaurants and bars. There’s the beautiful lake Monroe where you can take pictures and safely watch for gators at sunset.

Down Town Sanford

Hours: Mon-Sat 6:30am-2:00pm Sun 7:00am - 2:00pm This is an absolutely wonderful place to get breakfast or an early lunch located in downtown town Sanford. We stop in here occasionally with Kanyon. Kanyon highly recommends the pancakes.

Colonial Room

Hours: everyday 10am-11pm This is where we had our first official date. It’s a lot of fun, and a great way to spend a day out.

Congo River Golf

Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-8pm Fri/Sat 8am-11pm Sunday-Closed Henry’s Depot is a fun food hall/ food court style building with many small restaurants and a bar inside. It’s a great place to get ramen, pizza, ice cream, and many more tasty things.

Henrys Depot

Hours: everyday 11am-9pm This is a wonderful German restaurant and bar. Usually crowded with people and a super fun atmosphere!

Hollerbachs German Restaurant 

Hours: wed/thur 11am-9pm Fri/Sat 11am-10pm Sun 11am-8pm Fun restaurant/Bar

The Breezeway 

Hours: Thursday 8pm-12am Friday/Sat 8pm-2am Manikins is a more gothic industrial lounge, and definitely isn’t for everybody, but is really worth checking out if that’s something you’re into.

Manikins Lounge 

Hours: Wed/Thu 4pm-10pm Friday 4pm-11pm Saturday 11am-12am Sunday 11am-10pm Elev8 is a fun arcade style place where kids (and adults) can have fun and let loose. They have mini golf, laser tag, arcade games, video games, and much more. This is definitely the place to go if you want to the kids to get some energy out.

Lake Monroe is located right off of downtown Sanford and is absolutely beautiful. It’s a wonderful place to take pictures, walk the trail, and safely watch for gators at sunset.
