Our Wedding

Nonquitt is a small waterfront community located on Buzzard's Bay in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Nonquitt was founded in the late 1800s, serving as a summer sanctuary for families from Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Providence. Many of these homes have been passed generation to generation, making for a tight knit and closely connected community today. Nonquitt is no more than 3 miles from end to end with one main road in and out. Within Nonquitt, you will find beautiful beaches, a 9-hole golf course, tennis and pickle courts, a Casino and a little post office. The secluded, easy nature of Nonquitt makes it ideal for disconnecting and enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. There are no businesses inside Nonquitt (with the exception of the penny candy post office) however there are many forms of entertainment via beaches, running trails, golf, tennis &amp; pickleball. The Haydock family has deep roots in Nonquitt and we are so excited to welcome our friends and family to a place that means so much to Nat and I!

About

Nonquitt is located in South Dartmouth, MA and is easily accessible via car for those within the tri-state area. For our out of town guests, our recommendation is to fly into Boston Logan International Airport and rent a car. Driving time will be ~1.5 hours.

We are working to place all guests in cottages either in Nonquitt or just outside in Padanaram Village. We are currently in the process of securing weekend rentals and will be providing housing assignments and requesting payment closer to the wedding. Houses will be available Thursday - Sunday. If you would prefer to stay in a hotel, please reach out to Nat and Hannah directly. For hotel lodging, the nearest accommodations are roughly 15-20 minutes away; we recommend the New Bedford Harbor Hotel. There are also a number of Airbnb's for rent in the area; should you wish to go this route we recommend rentals in Padanaram Village or Westport, MA.

Grab your swim trunks and head out for a some fun in the sun! Jump off the pier at the Bathing Beach or enjoy a leisurely walk along North and South Beach.

Things to Do

Nonquitt Gate Access: Nonquitt is a private community so all guests will need to use the event gate code 31546* when entering. Golf and Tennis: Guests will have access to the golf course and tennis courts throughout the weekend. Courts are clay so proper tennis shoes will be required. Golf access does not require sign up, so guests can show up and play. The following Tennis blocks have been reserved for guests:- Friday, 6/14: Courts 3 and 4 from 2-5pm; Court 5 from 2:30 - 4pm- Saturday, 6/15: Courts 3 and 4 from 11am-2pm Pickle: Saturday from 10-11:30am. Wedding Transportation: A shuttle will run to and from the Haydock house for the wedding. If you are staying outside of Nonquitt for the weekend, please park at the Casino for the shuttle as there is no parking at the house. The shuttle will have two pick up/drop off points. The first is Camp Lane &amp; Nonquitt Avenue and is ideal if your house is on Narragansett Avenue or on Nonquitt Avenue above the Golf course. The second pick up point will be the Casino and is suitable for those staying off Nonquitt Avenue below the Casino and Golf course. If you are staying on Mattarest or Feather Bed Lane you are walking distance to the Haydock house. Transportation will start running at 4:15 with the last bus leaving the Haydock house at 11:30.
