Hannah and Zach's story begins in April 10 years ago in Austin, Texas. Zach was a junior at Anderson High School, watching the series finale of How I Met Your Mother with a friend. His friend was glued to her phone, texting her friend Hannah, a sophomore at Anderson. When Zach saw Hannah's picture, he immediately thought She is so beautiful and asked for her number. The two began texting and within a week, Zach offered to tutor Hannah in Chemistry. At their first meeting, Zach surprised her with an instant coffee with artificial sweetener – if you know Hannah, you know she doesn't like either of those. But Hannah was won over by Zach's kindness. They soon began dating– going to concerts, improv theater comedy shows, and on Friday nights, to shows downtown where Zach played electric bass in a band called Eleanor and the Atlantic. Hannah felt like a real groupie.

Zach graduated before Hannah, and waited a year before applying to college so that Hannah could catch up. They moved to Conway, Arkansas to attend Hendrix College, where they both majored in psychology and fell in love with the subject and the Natural State. Their final semester at Hendrix was cut short by the pandemic, and they moved back to Austin with their new puppy, Willow.

Soon enough, they headed back to Arkansas, Fayetteville this time, to start graduate school at the University of Arkansas.

Zach and Hannah have grown into adulthood together, helping each other become the best versions of themselves. They have shared each other's love of travel, cooking, exercise, 70s music, football (soccer), and dogs.

Zach era estudiante del tercer año en Anderson High School, viendo el final de la serie "How I Met Your Mother" con una amiga de la escuela. Esa amiga estaba pegada a su teléfono enviando mensajes a su amiga Hannah, quien en ese entonces era una estudiante de segundo año en Anderson. Pero, Hannah quedó conquistada por la amabilidad de Zach. Pronto comenzaron a salir juntos, yendo a conciertos, shows de comedia de improvisación, y los viernes por la noche, a espectáculos en el centro donde Zach tocaba el bajo eléctrico en una banda llamada Eleanor and the Atlantic. Hannah se sentía como una verdadera fanática.

Zach se graduó antes que Hannah y esperó un año antes de inscribirse a la universidad para que Hannah pudiera alcanzarlo y así pudieran irse juntos.
