Below is a tale of how we met, became friends and fell in love. But before we begin, this must first be stated. We hope our story, that which has been lived and that yet to be lived, points to the larger and more important story of Christ and his saving work in our lives. How he has redeemed us and has shown himself faithful in our lives.
James asked one of Hannah’s best friends if he should date Hannah and became happy and the most nervous he’s been in his life when she responded, “I think it would be a good idea! ;)” It was a great idea… thanks Bethany! James asked Hannah on a date to Idyllwild where they spent longer than they’d planned hiking, exploring, and talking together.
James and Hannah plan to spend a day in Idyllwild to explore and hike. Hannah was slightly suspicious, as Idyllwild is a perfect location for James to propose. James though so too, and so, he took her on a hike and said, “Let’s go over there, it’s a pretty view.” He proceeded to propose and Hannah said “Yes!!”
God provided an opportunity for James to fufill his childhood dream and become a plant scientist. James moved from Riverside to Sioux Falls, South Dakota and began work late April. The couple will reunite after their wedding when Hannah moves to join him. Please be praying for them as they transition to this new, exciting, and hard season of transplanting, no pun intended.
