Disclaimer: we understand the rarity of a Tuesday Wedding. We are hoping folks can take advantage of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday and can make a vacation out of the event, if able!

Hannah and Mark will be at the resort from May 23rd to May 29th

All booking will be done through our travel agent using this website: Herc/Hotz Destination Wedding | Anderson Vacations.

*** If you do not use the travel agent above: there will be a charge to attend the wedding events (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception). Additionally, if you stay outside of this resort there will be a fee to attend wedding events along with a fee to enter the resort. Finally, you will be on your own to secure travel to and from the airport which can be challenging ***

* The travel agent will also assist you in booking your travel from the airport, but they will NOT be booking your flights, those will be done on your own.

When booking using our travel agent:

1: Guests will receive a $200 resort credit for spa services or upgraded food/drink

2: Our travel agent will secure roundtrip safe travel to/from the airport

3: Our travel agent can assist with resort and booking questions.

4: Payment is not due for the hotel until March 1.

5: Taxes are included in the pricing.

6. We have secured that all children 12 and under stay for free. (hotel does off this as part of their standard booking)

We recommend securing your hotel reservation ASAP as availability of room types is first come, first serve.

RESERVATION DEADLINE IS FEBUARY 1. (Payment due March 1)

Our travel agent has secured a group rate, including taxes, for May 22nd, 2025- June 1, 2025. You are able to book your stay for any of these days. Mark and Hannah will be at the resort from May 23 to May 29.

We are hoping folks can use this as an excuse for a vacation over Memorial Day weekend and we can spend some quality time together!

Rooms have a 3-person Occupancy limit. (i.e. cannot have 4 adults listed on 1 room) HOWEVER children under 5 do not count towards that occupancy. If you exceed the 4-person occupancy you will need to book another room OR 1 person will need to be listed under another room.

Note: you are welcome to bring additional friends/family on the trip if desired, however, please keep in mind that only those on the invitation will be able to attend the wedding events on May 27th. If you are unsure if your guest is invited, please reach out to Hannah or Mark ASAP.

Cancellation is subject to a $50 per room penalty prior to March 1, 2025. Deadline to reserve the group rate is February 1, 2025 and is based on availability. Balance on reservations will be due by March 1, 2025 and will be non-refundable after that date unless travel protection is purchased . A passport is required for all guests as the destination is considered international travel.

* There is a Kid Friendly side of the Resort and Adults-Only side of the Resort. Adults can travel freely between all sections of the resort. Children 12 and under stay free. Children under 5 do not count towards the room occupancy.

***We do hope that folks are able to turn this into a family trip with their Kiddo's, if that makes sense for them! HOWEVER, at this time we can NOT guarantee that children will be able to attend the wedding. If you are bringing kiddos, please consider using the daily programming at the resort and/or you are welcome to bring other friends/family that may want to join for a vacation and can be available to watch the kiddos. ***

Melia is the Resort Chain we will be staying at. Please review the website for more information on the Adults Only vs. Kid Friendly Sides of the resort. When exploring the website be sure you are reviewing the Playa del Carmen- Paradisus Resort.

this resort is ALL-INCLUSIVE. Meaning all food and drinks (alcohol included) are included in the price of your room.

Please be sure you accurately list the number of people in your room as you do need to be listed on the room to be in the resort and use the all-inclusive package.

We have select rooms available through the group contract. Please see here for available room types and pricing Herc/Hotz Destination Wedding | Anderson Vacations). The room pricing you see is the total cost for the room, not cost per person.

You are able to stay on the Kid-Friendly side of the resort if you desire, without children. These rooms are slightly lower in cost.

We have reserved pricing for May 22, 2025 to June 1, 2022. (Wedding events May 27). You are welcome to book for any dates across this timeline, as long as you are present for the wedding day. It is encouraged to book a minimum of 3 nights.
