Hannah and Micah met the summer of 2011 at University Village apartments&nbsp; right down the road from&nbsp;CU&nbsp;Boulder's campus. Micah first noticed Hannah at small gathering across the&nbsp;hall&nbsp; when he&nbsp;saw&nbsp;noticed a beautiful&nbsp;woman&nbsp;with a&nbsp;hebrew tattoo&nbsp;on her wrist. They started dating a few months later when Micah asked Hannah "So are you my girlfriend yet?" at Yom Kippur dinner. They enjoyed countless good times and adventures the next few years together as they grew deeper in love.

How They Met

After graduating from&nbsp;CU Boulder in the spring of 2014,&nbsp;Micah and Hannah&nbsp;knew they were going to travel&nbsp;abroad&nbsp;that fall in Europe together. Come fall, Micah and Hannah boarded their 1-way flights to Europe for an adventure of a lifetime -&nbsp;well,&nbsp;the first of many. They spent two months&nbsp;exploring&nbsp;8 countries in&nbsp;western Europe&nbsp;and ended up in Israel to stay with Hannah's Uncle David Schwartz (yes,&nbsp;Micah has an Uncle David Schwartz too) for a month. Since then, they've traveled abroad every other year&nbsp;visiting Cuba in the winter of 2016&nbsp;and, most recently, Peru where they got engaged.

Chai (חי) is the Hebrew word for life.&nbsp;All Hebrew words have&nbsp;a numeric value and&nbsp;Chai (חי) is equal to 18,&nbsp;Micah's lucky number.

Details

With a stay at Hotel Boulderado, you'll be&nbsp;centrally located in Boulder and&nbsp;steps away from the reception at Rembrandt Yard. This historic hotel is within close proximity of Pearl Street Mall and Central Park. If for some reason the booking&nbsp;website isn't showing any availability, don't worry, just email Mia Opalka&nbsp;&lt;mopalka@boulderado.com&gt; and tell her you're booking for our wedding or call the hotel 303-442-4344, and press 1 for Reservations (Group reservation # is 45396) or ask for Mia. If you have any issues let Micah know via email (micahmador@gmail.com) or txt (916-531-0275). UPDATE (5/30): The hotel is booking up on Friday + Saturday so if you plan to stay at the Boulderado (especially night(s) before), we'd encourage you to book your room by Wed (6/5) or shortly after - to ensure the lowest rate possible.

It's a ~45 minute drive from Denver International Airport (DIA) to Boulder. You'll have no problem getting a Lyft or Uber if you don't want to deal with a rental&nbsp;car. Most events will be a&nbsp;5-10 minutes drive&nbsp;away from the hotels.

Transportation to/from the ceremony on&nbsp;Sunday (8/11):







Buses will be provided from the three hotels to the ceremony venue at Sunrise Amphitheater&nbsp;and back to the Rembrandt Yard for the reception on Sunday. &nbsp;If you are not staying at one of the hotels, plan to be&nbsp;at the Boulderado by&nbsp;2:20.&nbsp;Please check back here for final times but you can plan on:

Hikes: 



<ul><li>Sanitas is a favorite, it's only ~4 miles but kicks your put with ~1,000ft+ of elevation gain
</li><li>Flatirons + Royal Arch are accessible via Chautauqua park (also a good dining hall there) and are quintessential Boulder hikes</li></ul>



&nbsp;Activities around Boulder:



<ul><li>Walk pearl street mall on a weekend, great people watching + street performers
</li><li>Drive up Baseline road to realization point or other turnoffs. Super cool to drive for 5-10 minutes and be so high up. On a clear day, you can see the Denver skyline
</li><li>Celestial Seasoning Factory Tour - It's a 15 minute drive to the factory but well worth it for any Tea lovers.&nbsp;The mint room is intoxicating!</li><li>Check out&nbsp;<a href="http://www.goldhillinn.com/">Gold Hill Inn</a>&nbsp;(~30 mins from Boulder) - family run restaurant (never been for dinner but heard it's great) that serves a 5 course dinner and you can stay up there in an oldstyle hotel</li></ul>





Food!



<ul><li>Kitchen Next Door&nbsp;+ Kitchen Upstairs -&nbsp;Go-to for a good meal that doesn't break the bank. It's all farm to table and delicious. Kitchen Upstairs is a great place to go for a drink and meal, it's a cozy lounge environment with couches to sit on.</li><li>&nbsp;Pizza Caloré,&nbsp;Pizzeria locale (Gourmet Pizza), Audrey Janes Pizza Garage all on Pearl St.</li><li>ZoeMaMa - Nothing fancy Asian Street food, great Chicken Noodle Soup + and other authentic dishes, Aloy Thai and Tandori Grill (S. Boulder) are another good ones</li><li>Jill's Restaurant at the St. Julien is great for breakfast, lunch buffet or dinner (try the table ceasar, it's unbelievably good for just a ceasar salad)</li><li>T | aco is a favorite right next door to the rio for street tacos. The owner, Peter, is awesome</li><li>Wahoo's Fish Taco on 28th and Pearl St - Hannah's all time favorite.</li></ul>



Coffee shops:



<ul><li>Ozo on pearl is super popular</li><li>Trident is a hybrid coffee shop/bookstore right across from Ozo</li><li>Gather + Amante on Walnut street are the startup/tech places to hang, work, and stay caffeinated</li><li>Dushanbe tea house is an awesome place for coffee + a meal right on the boulder creek. The architecture there is amazing.</li></ul>
