Hannah and Jared first met four years ago in Grand Junction, Colorado. After moving to a new state to start her news career and shortly after he had finished getting a degree at CMU the two found each other on a dating app. They bonded over their love for animals and good food. What was meant to be a short date, going out for drinks, quickly turned into a late night cooking party in Jared's kitchen. The two shared a bottle of wine while they slow danced in the kitchen. Even to this day Jared says it is his favorite first date, the perfect first date. The two quickly shared their dreams and passions and became inseparable.

Early on Jared taught a very uncoordinated Hannah how to golf, something they both enjoy doing when the weather is warm. They would go on to start building their lives together with their dog Oaty and cat Mister by their sides before adding more furry critters to the mix.
