Our Wedding

We met on Friday, March 17th, 2023 - St. Patrick's Day of our senior year at Mizzou! We both didn't want to go out that night. Nick had worked a long shift at the golf course and Hannah had done the same waitressing at Flatbranch, but it was our senior year, so we both decided to go out. On the 2nd floor of Willies, roughly a little bit past 10:30pm one of Nick's friends called over Hannah when Head Over Boots by Jon Pardi came on over the speakers because she was singing along. Hannah and the group of Nick's friends started dancing and Hannah immediately noticed Nick. We proceeded to introduce ourselves to eachother and started talking just us two. Fast forward about two hours and we had covered a lot of our life stories. From future plans, our families, what are parents did for work, summer travel plans, music, Table Rock Lake, Lake of the Ozarks, and our grandparents. That night we met for the first time, but we both later said that it felt like we had known each other for our entire lives. Our first date was four days later at Bud's BBQ in downtown Columbia. After our first date, it was pretty clear to both of us that this felt different. We continued to go on dates and hangout for a few more weeks until April 3rd, 2023 when we officially started dating. Nick asked Hannah to be his girlfriend on the pickleball courts of course! In the early months of dating, we both talked about how we thought this would be forever and knew from very early on that we'd be getting married someday. Flash forward over 2 years, through Nick completing two years of dental school, Hannah working full-time, long distance, and everything in between - the gut feeling of knowing this was forever never changed. We got engaged on November 9, 2024 in Columbia, MO where it all started! We can't wait for you to watch the rest of our story unfold with us - cheers to May 8th, 2026 and the start of forever!
