We met at Kaskaskia College, right before our first collegiate baseball/softball seasons. We became best friends first and then started dating a few weeks after we met. February 20, 2018 marks the official day we started dating.

During the summer of 2018, Carter decided to attend school and play ball back home, at St. Charles Community College. We would spend about 4 years driving back and forth from O'Fallon, Missouri to Carlyle, Illinois.

One thing that we had in common was our love for sports. We attended so many of each other's ball games. It is still up in the air who the better athlete is. One of our goals is to travel to every MLB Stadium.

Hannah knew that Carter had a ring and that he was going to propose before he left for Colorado in May 2023. On Friday, April 14, Carter proposed on the deck of Hannah's apartment. We celebrated at Busch Stadium that night, one of our favorite places.

Hannah is currently a teacher at Greenville High School, head high school volleyball coach, and finishing up her Master's Degree in Special Education. Carter coaches baseball with the Rawlings Tigers, umpires, and plays professional baseball.
