Justin and Hannah met about four years ago through mutual friends in Lincoln. They each have different versions of the actual first time they met, though. Justin remembers it as being when he was driving four wheelers with buddies outside of Hannah's workplace at the time, and she popped her head out and flagged him down for a ride (as one does!). Maybe it was because she was mostly looking at the back of his head when they rode around...but God opened Hannah's eyes to Justin months after this encounter.

Hannah remembers meeting Justin at a shared friends house who had a couple people over for dinner and drinks. She noticed him right away that evening. She thought he was kind of shy and really cute (even with the chin strap beard he had at the time!). Hannah definitely wanted to know more about this mystery guy. From then, there were more group hangouts and the two started to get to know each other more as time went on. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

At the start, things between Justin and Hannah remained very casual as friends. Eventually, Justin asked Hannah to meet him for dinner at the Watering Hole. He told her that his feelings for her were stronger than "just friends" have for each other and he wanted to be exclusive.

Since that talk, Justin and Hannah have gone through high highs and low lows...but with patience, faith, and deep relentless love they've found themselves in the happiest season of their lives so far as they prepare for marriage.

The memories Justin and Hannah have made together already are countless. Some of the highlights have been snowboarding in Colorado, camping and riding four wheelers around in Halsey National Forest, becoming a part of the City Light North church family, growing grass and a new chapter of their relationship in their first rental together on 63rd & Leighton, nights in making dinner and watching Yellowstone, going on bike rides, golfing, having game nights with family, and of course getting engaged on May 20, 2023!

Justin does his best to keep up with Hannah's packed social calendar and supports her event planning endeavors (organized chaos). While Hannah tries to understand #jeeplife and loves seeing her man "wrench on sh*t". She's even done a bit of welding! Life is anything but boring for these two.

Today, Justin and Hannah are enjoying making their new-to-them house in North Bend, NE their home. Since moving in December of 2023, it's been very special to them to be in a home that has been in Justin's family for over 150 years.

When they're not working, they spend a lot of time with family and friends, cuddling with their dog Josie, and asking people "Is this still available?" on Facebook Marketplace.

After the wedding, Justin and Hannah look forward to traveling together more again, doing more fixer-upper projects around the farmhouse, having kiddos (AKA giving both of their parents their first grandchild), and continuing to uncover all the amazing blessings God has planned for them.
