Vida - 531 S Gay St., Knoxville, TN 37902

Vida is owned by the same people as Kefi, but serves pan-Latin tapas-style small plates. They also have a bar in a bank vault, aptly named The Vault, in the basement. Reservations recommended - dinner.

Otsu is a newer dim sum restaurant serving dumplings! Reservations recommended - dinner.

Yassin's Falafel House - 212 Hamilton Crossing Dr., Maryville, TN 37701 (other locations as well)

Yassin's is a Knoxville staple for shawarma and falafel. Get the chicken sandwich, you won't regret it.

Xul Beer Co. - 213 E 5th Ave., Ste A, Knoxville, TN 37917

Xul is very popular in Knoxville and, recently, across the country for its PB&J Mixtape Beer, which tastes like an Uncrustable. While you're there, get a smash burger from the Abridged Food Truck - arguably the best burger in town.
