It all began when we knew of each other in high school. Freshman year, Caroline High. We were never actually spoke to one another but we did have mutual friends. Cj messaged me on facebook a couple of times but never did respond. I was involved with someone else. So it ended pretty much there. I moved away to a different county and started school at Mountain View to finish out while Cj stayed in Caroline.
After graduating high school in 2016, Cj went directly into the military, became a marine, and was stationed in North Carolina. I was entering her senior year in high school. Still have not spoken to each other. I graduated a year later and was involved with someone else AGAIN. But eventually that came to an end too. I was scrolling on Instagram when she came across a picture that Cj had posted so I decided to reach out to him. I messaged him asking for his snapchat and of course, he responded. You could say the rest is history! lol
We have started to talk daily and instantly had a connection. We grew to know everything about each other. Cj made plans to come home to visit and so we could go out on an actual date. It was New Years Eve 2017 when Cj came to pick me up for the first time seeing each other since back in high school. I will never forget the feeling I got when seeing him when I opened my front door. God let me know that day that I found my soulmate. This was him.
We've spent 2 years of our relationship apart with Cj being in the military. There were lots of short visits, facetime calls, laughs, tears, and doubt. But there were also great memories we've made that we will never forget. Oh, I can't forget all the great people I've met too!
Cj got out of the military and now we have moved out together in our very first apartment. It has been an adjustment to our lives but I cant picture being anywhere else. Was getting to where our relationship is today easy? No. Was every decision we've made together worth it? Well, I think you know the answer.
We hope to see you on our most special day!
XOXO,
Future Mrs. Ziadeh
