Our Wedding

We’re both from Decatur, Alabama, and even went to the same high school — Decatur High! JC graduated in 2011 and I (Hannah) in 2012. I actually had the biggest crush on him back then... so big that I used to leave anonymous notes of encouragement in his football locker (still one of my favorite memories!).   Years later, JC sent me a message on Instagram asking if I wanted to go on a date. We went on our first date at P.F. Chang’s in Madison, AL — and honestly, from that very night, I just knew he was the one.   Since then, it’s been 10 amazing years of love, laughter, and building a life together. We've lived together for 8 of those years, bought our first home in 2023, and are proud parents to two of the sweetest pups: Wolf, our German Shepherd, and Spirit, our French Bulldog.   This engagement has been a long time in the making. JC had actually planned to propose years ago when I planned to move to Oregon with him, but life had a different timeline for us. Even though I stayed in Alabama and he had to move back from Oregon, our love for Oregon never left — it’s the place where we both feel most at home.   That’s why we chose to say I do on the beautiful Oregon Coast in 2026. We can’t wait to celebrate this dream with all of you, surrounded by the people (and the place) we love most!

We’re asking all of our guests to wear shades of sage green and beige so everyone beautifully blends together in the photos. Think soft, earthy, romantic tones — feel free to reference the color swatches below for inspiration! Dress Code: Semi-FormalFor women: Cocktail or garden party dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or separates in sage or beige tones. For men: Lightweight suits or sport coats with dress pants. Linen or other breathable fabrics are perfect for the beach setting. No ties necessary unless you want to! A Few Tips:- Please avoid white, ivory, or overly bold/bright colors.- Neutrals like tan, cream, or soft olive green are totally welcome if you're unsure!- Dress comfortably for a beach ceremony — heels are optional and sandals or flats are encouraged.

Night Before the Wedding

We won’t be having a formal rehearsal dinner, but if you’ll be in town the night before the wedding, we’d love to spend time with you! We’ll be heading out for a casual dinner that evening (location to be decided soon), and everyone is welcome to join us. This is a relaxed way to kick off the wedding weekend, catch up with friends and family, and share a meal together before the big day. Each guest will be responsible for their own meal and drinks, so you can order exactly what you’d like. We’ll update this page with the restaurant details and time once they’re finalized — so check back closer to the date!
