Hilary and James met while attending University of Rochester where they attended many track & soccer mixers together. They both settled in Rochester and remained good friends. When Hannah began dating James, she was quickly introduced to Hilary and stole her as her own friend ;) Hilary has become such a close friend to each of us and we cannot thank her enough for agreeing to marry us. We love you Hildo!

Frankie belongs to Frank and Chrissy Lavorato, two of James and Hannah’s best friends. Hannah and James have had the pleasure of knowing Frankie since he was a baby and have had so much fun watching him grow into the chatty, sweet and fun-loving little boy that he is! Frankie lives in Livonia NY with his mom, dad, baby sister Dorothy and Vizsla brothers, Moose & Buddy.

Alicia and Hannah met in 6th grade on the school bus. They clicked right away and Alicia soon became the sister Hannah never had. The early years of their friendship were spent choreographing dance routines, making YouTube videos and fangirling over The Jonas Brothers…these were awkward times. Over the years, they have continued to be there for each other through the ups and downs of life. Hannah couldn’t imagine anyone else standing beside her on the big day and is so excited to repay the favor when Alicia marries her fiancé, Christian, in July 2023.

Emily is James's sister. She played college soccer at Nazareth and is now a speech pathologist and varsity soccer coach at Gananda Central School District. She and her husband Mike have two shelties (Cooper and Sam) who are their pride and joy!

Shelby is married to James’s best man, Michael. Hannah and Shelby met in December 2019 when Hannah was introduced to a group of James’s best friends at the first annual Slentzmas in Houston, TX. Their friendship was established right away and they have since enjoyed traveling across the country to destinations such as Denver, Jackson, Park City, and Scottsdale. Hannah and Shelby’s shared interests include making fun of James and Michael, shopping for fancy hats, and obsessing over dogs!

Hannah and Abby met freshman year of college at RIT. They spent the next four years living, studying, traveling and of course partying together! Abby later went on to date Hannah’s brother, Noah. (God bless her heart!) Abby and Noah currently live together in Las Vegas, NV with their fur babies Sky and Roanoke. They recently got engaged while visiting Sequoia National Park and are planning a wedding for 2023/2024. Abby and Noah also recently closed on a house in Rochester and plan to move back to the area next fall. Hannah is so pumped to have her future SIL live just 10 minutes away!

Hannah and Lexie met freshman year of college at RIT. They immediately bonded over all things One Direction, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and their shared disdain for chemistry lab. Hannah and Lexie began living together sophomore year of college and have been besties ever since. Lexie still lives in Rochester, NY so luckily the pair is able to continue their shenanigans around town!

Hannah and Nicole met freshman year of college at RIT. While Hannah was initially intimidated by Nicole due to her insane lax skills (Nicole was the resident D3 athlete of our group), they eventually met and became instant BFFs! Nicole currently lives in NYC with her fiancé, Igor, and their English bulldog, Bagel. Nicole and Igor are getting married in July of 2022 - so be sure to wish them Congratulations!

Hannah and Tricia met freshman year of college at RIT. They became roommates sophomore year and spent the next four years making some of Hannah’s favorite memories. Though physical distance has made it difficult to get together often, they are lucky enough to to have the type of friendship that allows them to always pick up right where they left off. Tricia now lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband, Dylan, and their adorable puppy, Maple. Fun fact: Hannah was a bridesmaid in Tricia and Dylan’s wedding and is so excited that Tricia is reciprocating the favor!

Claire and Hannah first met while interviewing for a position at RIT’s PA program. They both were accepted into the program and became fast friends. Claire has always danced to the beat of her own drum and there is never a dull moment when she is around! Claire currently lives with her fiancé, John, in Rochester where they both work as PAs. Claire and John are getting married shortly after us and we cannot wait to celebrate with them!

Mike and James met in pre-season their first year playing soccer at the University of Rochester and immediately bonded over a mutual love of Genny Light, FIFA, and Mike's mom's trail mix. Their tastes have evolved over time - they now bond over bourbon, steaks, skiing, and the markets. Throughout their friendship Mike has always been a reliable source of humor, a willing travel buddy, and a wellspring of support. After bouncing between Kansas City and San Francisco after college, Mike settled in Houston where he now lives with his (very patient) wife Shelby, their dog Zoey, and a beautiful foster pup named Daisy. If you don't know him by now, you will after the wedding!

Adam is Hannah’s oldest brother. Growing up, Adam was an exemplary role model. He helped Hannah with her homework, attended all of her dance recitals (with only some complaining), and even defended her when she got into trouble with the high school principal for skipping study hall. Adam now lives in NYC and works as an assistant district attorney. He lives with his partner, Iyad, and their mildly overweight, but nonetheless adorable, dog Louie. Adam and Iyad are tying the knot in January 2023! Congrats gents!

Noah is Hannah’s youngest brother. Growing up, Hannah and Noah were something close to arch-enemies. They tattled on each other, called each other names and wrestled in near death matches. However, as the two grew up and matured, they found common ground and became friends. They frequently visited each other at their respective colleges and hung out at many of the fine establishments downtown Buffalo and Rochester have to offer. Noah now lives in Las Vegas, NV where he works in finance and complains to Hannah about her not visiting enough.

Ringo and James met at University of Rochester and ended up living together for several years, including while Ringo completed his Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Countless hours were spent watching trashy TV and debating politics, philosophy, and economics. Post-college, Ringo lived in Utica and NYC before settling in Miami, where he now lives with his beautiful wife Vicki and their dog Ruby.

TJ and James met at the University of Rochester where they played soccer, took the same classes, and explored the scary depths of early-2000s Internet culture. After college TJ moved to Washington D.C. where he met his wife Sarah, who graciously convinced him to move back to Rochester. TJ and Sarah recently welcomed their first child Miles and have an adorable Aussie pup named Juno! (A good icebreaker - ask TJ why he once flushed his phone down the toilet.)

Hans is another one of James's former soccer teammates and college roommates. They're also distant cousins! Hans has chased his career (and his wonderful wife Brenna) all over the East coast; having first lived in Boston, they then moved to Fort Lauderdale, and finally settled in Raleigh where they currently reside with their dog Lincoln and two cats.

Zach and James were roommates in the early 2010s, a period of time marked by men's league soccer (RDSL Champs!), grilling out, and frequent porch hangs. After Zach moved to NYC, he and James also spent many weekends bar hopping and exploring the food scene. Zach met his wife - and equally kind life partner - Anjali in NYC before moving to Atlanta, where they now reside with their dog Mowgli.

Nick attended University of Rochester with James, where they both played soccer. After Nick returned from a teaching stint in South America, he and James spent countless late nights cooking, dancing (ask Nick to teach you salsa), and debating the meaning of life (usually after a few IPAs). James was a frequent visitor when Nick moved to NYC, where he subsequently met his very talented wife Nisha. Nick and Nisha now live in Los Angeles with their daughter Ameya and son Kai.
