During a hunting trip in November of 2022, Christopher mentioned to his cousin Joseph—who also happens to be the bride’s longtime friend since grade school—that he wanted to meet Hannah. Joseph, in true Joseph fashion, forgot… until February of 2023, when he and Alex, Hannah's best friend, finally put a plan into motion. They invited Hannah out for a night in downtown New Baltimore. She happily said yes—completely unaware that Christopher would be tagging along, along with another couple.When she found out, she felt a mix of nerves and excitement.That weekend, the six of them had an amazing time—and something between Christopher and Hannah just clicked. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable. Their first official date? Dinner at Mi Pueblo in Mexican Town, followed by second-row seats at a Detroit Red Wings game—Christopher’s surprise idea, and an unforgettable one. Since then, they’ve built a warm, happy life together in Armada with their beloved Norwegian Elkhound, Baeda—who’s pretty sure she runs the house. Now, they’re thrilled to be getting married and can’t wait for everything the future has in store—side by side, with love, laughter, and maybe a few more Red Wings games.

Inseparable since middle school, where we shared love for volleyball. Al has become more than a best friend — she’s truly like family. Whether we’re sipping espresso martinis, hitting the volleyball, boating on a sunny day, shopping ‘til we drop, or planning puppy play dates, life is better with her by my side. I couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her standing right next to me.

Chris and Jake first met playing squirt hockey and basically never stopped playing together — travel teams, juniors, college, you name it. They even survived living together in Minnesota for two years. Jake is now a proud Marine, and whenever he’s back home, you’ll find the two of them at their usual spot, Luigi’s.

The sweetest and funniest woman I know. Jenna and I have been close since the very beginning (literally!), and I honestly can’t imagine life without her. We’re two peas in a pod, always down for "cousin" days filled with crafting, fur baby snuggles, or grabbing our favorite bites from Lula’s Café. Every memory with her is full of laughs, love, and that unshakable bond we’ve shared since day one.

Chris met Jake freshman year of high school through Jakes brother, Tyler. The two worked together at Ram’s Horn and later lived together for three years in Utica. Jake’s been one of Chris’s most loyal supporters — the kind of friend who’d show up to college hockey games dressed head-to-toe as Spider-Man just to cheer him on.

Jacob Wonsowicz

One of the funniest, smartest, and most honest people I know — the kind of friend everyone wishes they had. Allie and I  met at Oakland University through our sorority, and we’ve been close ever since. What started as nights out at Coyote Joe's or Boogie Fever has turned into cozy wine nights in and girls' dinners filled with nonstop laughs. Through every season of life, Allie has been a constant, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side for this one, too.

Chris and Tyler go way back to 3rd grade, though they didn’t actually start hanging out until freshman year of high school. Tyler landed Chris his first job at Ram’s Horn. They later lived together for five years (three of those with Tyler’s brother Jake) in Utica, and Tyler became a fixture at Chris’s college hockey games, famously showing up with a massive inflatable whale named Free Willy.

We met through work, and we became instant friends — so alike that our coworkers still get us confused, earning us the nickname, Jannah. Julianne is the kind of friend who can make me laugh until my stomach hurts and turn any ordinary day into a memorable one. Whether we’re powering through the workday together or having a classic *Jannah Day* filled with brunch and shopping, time with her always leaves my heart full and happy. I’m so lucky to have her in my life!

Chris and Joey’s friendship started in preschool and lasted all through grade school. They spent summers pool hopping — with Joey’s mom unknowingly serving as their getaway driver. Joey now lives in Nashville but has stayed a close friend ever since.

Joseph Gawlowski

The one who finally gave Chris my number — so technically, we have Joseph to thank for this whole wedding! Over the years, Joseph has become the third brother I never asked for... It’s funny thinking back to grade school when I was actually scared of him — he always had a black eye from sports… or just from being Joseph. These days, whenever I see him, I know I’m in for uncontrollable laughter, eye-roll-worthy jokes, and stories that will stick with me forever. I’m so glad he’s part of this day — and this life.

Chris and Eddy met through Jake and Tyler’s former workplace. Eddy quickly became a staple at Chris’s college hockey games — always showing up with his bottle of Jäger and his sidekicks, Spider-Man (Jake) and Free Willy (Tyler). These days, Chris and Eddy spend most of their time together hunting and golfing.
