One of our favorite things to do in Charleston is grabbing an iced coffee and walking around the Battery. We recommend starting at the Pineapple Fountain in Waterfront Park and heading down Bay Street to catch a glimpse of Rainbow Row on the way.
Isle Of Palms
Isle of Palms, South Carolina
If you’re looking for a beach day, Isle of Palms is right across the bridge.
Patriots Point
40 Patriots Point Road Mount Pleasant, SC
We (Hannah) loved to visit the USS Yorktown when we were in Charleston. If you’re looking for a little bit of history this is a great stop!
Grab A Biscuit For Breakfast
Whether you’re downtown or out by the venue, be sure to try one of Charleston’s famous buttermilk biscuits. Our favorites are:
Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit (Downtown): 476 1/2 King Street Charleston, SC Vicious Biscuit (Mount Pleasant): 409 West Coleman Blvd Mount Pleasant, SC
Carmella's
198 E Bay Street Charleston, SC
A great spot for a sweet treat or something stronger. Carmella’s Dessert Bar is our favorite for an iced coffee before a walk along the water, or a drink and dessert after dinner. You can’t go wrong with this Charleston favorite!
Charleston City Market
188 Meeting Street Charleston, SC
We love this covered walk rain or shine. You can find all of your souvenirs in this one historic spot.
