Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at Burrit on the Mountain, only a 10-minute drive from downtown Huntsville. The ceremony will be held at the view, cocktail hour on the outdoor patio and lawn, and the reception inside Baron Bluff. There will be signs directing where to go.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park, explore the venue, and find your seat. Guests will not be allowed to enter the ceremony after 5 p.m. so plan accordingly. This avoids distractions not only for the guests, but for the bride and groom.
Can I bring a guest/date?
If you received a plus one, your guests name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.
Are kids invited?
While we love your children, we decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only, 21-plus, event. Invitations will be specific and include the names of the adults invited. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off! If a babysitter is needed, please contact the bride and groom privately for local recommendations.
What is the dress code?
We would love to see our friends and family feel their best and dress up with us! We are requesting a formal or black tie optional dress code. Please no white/ivory clothing out of respect for the bride, and no jeans/denim.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, the drinks are on us and the hangover is on you-get ready to celebrate. We have waited so long to celebrate this day so party accordingly!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we are asking for all devices to be silenced/turned off and kept away during the ceremony so guests and participants can be present to the fullest extent. The bride and groom will share all professional photos after the wedding for guests to see. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like!
When should I rsvp by?
The deadline to RSVP has been extended to April 1st. This ensures the bride and groom have plenty of time to accommodate for your attendance. To RSVP, please scan the QR code located in the invitation suite, click the link, and follow the prompt. This means you will not need to return a paper RSVP to the bride and groom! If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by the anticipated deadline, you will be marked as "not attending". This is to provide our vendors with an appropriate guest count in a timely manner. We hope you understand, and we will miss you celebrating with us!
