What is the purpose of a wedding website?
We are so glad you asked! We want the people we love the most to have an enjoyable experience and want to share our wedding details with you. This website is to help you plan for our big day. Please remember to RSVP by April 5, 2025. If you have any additional questions besides the one listed below, or have problems with your RSVP, please reach out. We look forward to hearing from you.
When should I RSVP?
Kindly RSVP by April 5, 2025, so that we can have an accurate headcount for the venue and catering. You can RSVP on this website or contact us directly. If we haven't received your RSVP by the specified date, we will assume you are not able to make it. Please keep this in mind as we want all our family and friends to have a wonderful experience. When providing your RSVP please register each person individually. Start by entering your full first and last name as it appears on your invitation, to unlock your RSVP form.
What are the wedding colors?
Lavender, sage, black, and silver accents.
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Both the ceremony and reception will be at the same location. Windy Hill Farm Wedding Barn, 682 Morris School Road, Searcy, AR 72143. The ceremony will take place behind the red building. The reception will be held inside the red building. The white barn will not be used except for photo purposes.
The venue has a Facebook page listed as Windy Hill Farm - Wedding and Event Barn.
Will the wedding and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both! The ceremony will take place outdoors with a wooded background, unless the weather is not cooperative. The reception will be held indoors. The ceremony will take place behind the red building. The reception will be held inside the red building. The white barn will not be used except for photo purposes.
Should the weather be a factor, then the ceremony and reception will be held indoors together. Please pray for beautiful weather. 😊
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony starts at 5:30pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to allow for parking, signing the guestbook and finding a seat.
When will the reception start?
The reception will start right after the ceremony. All guests are invited to join us for the reception. The wedding party and family will join the reception after wedding photos.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We would love for all our family and friends to be fully present in the moment with us, so we ask that you kindly put your phones away and on silent for an unplugged ceremony.
We are more than happy for you to take photos/videos once the ceremony is over.
What do I need to wear as a guest?
Dressy Casual.
May I bring a plus one and/or my children?
Plus one: While we would love for as many as possible to share our special day given our planned resources, limited seating of the venue, we had to limit the number of guests. If you are a married couple, we hope both of you can attend. If you are single, we want you to be comfortable so a plus one is allowed. We only ask that you please add your guest when you RSVP for our final head count.
Children: We love children and hope to have many of our own. If we have invited you, we have also invited your children.
Unfortunately, we only have a limited number of seats, therefore we ask that you do not bring any extra children (besides yours) with you. Thank you for your understanding.
When providing your RSVP please list each adult and child separately.
What food will be served at the reception?
Dinner and dessert will be catered by The Rib Crib, Jessica Vaughan and Harps. The menu will consist of pork, chicken, baked beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, cake, and cupcakes. The drink options will be water, sweet tea, unsweet tea, and lemonade. Kindly RSVP so that we have an adequate amount.
What if I am late to the ceremony?
The ceremony will be starting promptly at 5:30PM. While you, of course, wanted and intended to be present at the wedding, take a moment to acknowledge and accept that things happen. You will, unfortunately, miss parts of the wedding. We will be happy that you were able to join us.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Our wedding ceremony, reception and venue are alcohol free. Please do not bring any outside alcohol.
Is there any special social media content?
Any pictures or video uploaded to social media please use the hashtag #hannahblake2025.
Will there be things for guest to do?
Yes! Royal Parties 360 Photo Video Booth will be onsite around 6:30PM. Please make a video that can be enjoyed for years to come. There will also be a photo prop station for selfies, a game area and dancing.
Is there anything to do the next morning?
Absolutely! That will be Sunday June 1, 2025. While we will be cruising away on our honeymoon, all our family and friends are invited to Kennect City Church. The address is 1119 Wilbur D Mills Ave, Kensett, AR 72082. Website www.kennectcity.net. Facebook page is listed as Kennect City Church. Service starts at 10:20am. Pastors are Rob Stewart and Carl Medley.
What are Hannah and Blake's future plans?
Where the Lord leads, they will follow. Blake will start residency of medicine at Unity Health and will be praying for the Lord to lead him to Family Practice. Hannah will continue to teach elementary school while praying the Lord will lead her to a position where she can use her master's degree in Reading with Dyslexia.
Cards & Gifts
While we would appreciate it very much if our guest helped with items for our future home, we would appreciate it just as much if there were monetary contributions for our future lives together and any other expenses. If you prefer to give gifts, cards or cash the day of the wedding, we will have a table setup. We thank you very much for not only helping celebrate us on our wedding day, but for helping our future as husband and wife.
