One lonely warm day in July, Hannah was lounging on the couch in her rental in Reedsville and was scrolling through her newsfeed on Facebook. While scrolling, the suggested friends section popped up and a very handsome man caught her eye! She decided to creep on his profile and loved what she saw! Handsome guy, hunting, and his truck. She decided to be bold and send him a friend request and became restless waiting for him to "confirm" or "delete".

Colton was working when he received a friend request from some random girl who grew up in Sigel. He also decided to take a break from his job and creep on her profile and liked what he saw! Naturally, he confirmed her friend request. Then instantly, he had a notification from this girl alerting him that she liked his profile picture. He decided to return the favor and like her profile picture. All of this was happening so quick and then BOOM. Hannah messaged him saying "Hey".

They chit chatted for a couple hours and got to know each other. Hannah somehow convinced him to hang out that evening, even though they just started talking. She drove 2.5 hours to Marienville where she met Colton at the Red Apple gas station and climbed into his truck. Their first date was at Rays Hot Spot bar, where they connected, laughed and had the best first date of their lives.

They have been inseparable since!

After 6 months of dating, Colton and Hannah decided to move in together. They found a little cottage in Aaronsburg, PA where they resided for 1.5 years with their fur daughter Millie.

Hannah scheduled a "Christmas Mini" photoshoot with her good friend Corie. She thought it might be sweet to create Christmas cards to send out to their friends and family for the holiday. She scheduled with Corie on December 4th, 2022, not knowing this day would change her life forever! Colton, being sneaky, messaged Corie and planned a surprise proposal that she would capture on camera! Of course, Hannah said YES!

After the excitement of getting engaged, Hannah and Colton started to think about where they wanted to "dig their roots". They bought their first home in Colton's hometown of Kane, Pennsylvania. Hannah was offered her dream teaching job at the local school district, and Colton works for S&T Excavating, LLC. They remodeled the first floor of their home and moved in. They still have big plans and dreams on more remodeling projects, but they are the happiest couple on Highland Road counting down the days until September 14, 2024!
