Josiah and Hannah’s story actually began before they were even born. Their fathers, who were teammates at Trinity Bible College in North Dakota, forged a lifelong friendship that would later connect their families. Because of this, Josiah and Hannah have known each other from the very start.

Over the years, their families stayed connected, and Josiah and Hannah’s bond deepened through countless get-togethers. While it wasn’t love at first sight, God’s timing was perfect, and the one they had both been praying for had been right in front of them all along.

After some time apart, their paths crossed again at Josiah’s brother’s wedding reception in the summer of 2023. Then, during Hannah’s fall break while finishing nursing school, they reconnected once more, marking the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

They officially started dating, staying connected through late-night phone calls and texts as they navigated a long-distance relationship. Despite the miles between them, their love grew stronger with every visit, taking turns traveling between Merrill and Milwaukee. By God’s grace, their bond flourished, bringing them closer with each passing day.

On February 25th, in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Josiah and Hannah took a walk along the shoreline, collecting seashells and shared a quiet moment. As the sun set, Josiah knelt down on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him. Naturally, she said yes! And the adventure is only just beginning.
