After a few years of graduate school in California, Peter returned to his home town of Wayland, Massachusetts, in 2019. Two years later, Hannah moved to Boston for her graduate studies. After meeting online just a few months later in November 2021, they had a beautiful first date at Prospect Hill. Before long, Hannah and Peter were spending every weekend together, exploring the Boston area and quickly falling for each other. In May 2024, they moved in together in the Seaport area of Boston and adopted their beloved dog, Wilson, a few months later. Now, the happy family of three enjoys regular walks by the water and lazy days at home. Then, in August of 2025, Peter proposed to Hannah at a beautiful waterside location in Rhode Island, followed by a lovely dinner aboard the Grand Bellevue. The couple cannot wait to share their excitement with all of their loved ones in Vermont in September 2026!

Tux vs. Suit: What's the Difference?

Please wear something in which you feel comfortable and beautiful! Keep in mind that the wedding is outdoors, so it may be a bit chilly during the ceremony, especially for our Southern guests! Please avoid dresses that are primarily white or off-white. The wedding party will be wearing navy and silver. Dress Length and Style:The biggest difference between black-tie attire and black-tie-optional attire is that full-length evening gowns are preferred but not a must. A midi-length dress is also acceptable—just avoid anything above the knee, as it will be too casual.Wedding guest jumpsuits are another gray area for guests. Ultimately, whether or not a jumpsuit is acceptable depends on the style. Avoid anything that feels a little too laid-back (for example, bold patterned fabric) and instead opt for something tailored and elevated. Black-Tie-Optional Men's Attire:Black-tie-optional men's and gender-neutral attire can be just as confusing as women's attire. For example, what type of jacket should you wear? Well, classic black-tie attire means that tuxedos are mandatory, while black-tie optional means that the tuxedos are, well, optional. It's totally acceptable to swap out the tuxedo jacket for a structured suit jacket and wear an understated tie.

Dress Code

Each guest room at The Point at Castle Hill Resort &amp; Spa features a flat-screen cable TV and a refrigerator. They are styled in rich colors and dark wood furnishings.
