Jared and I met at Ole Miss RUF in 2020, and attended the same church during college (which is still our church today!). After 3 years of friendship, Jared decided to "risk ruining the close friend group dynamic" by asking me out. We spent the next two years becoming best friends, watching countless movies, playing lots of Sorry!, attending Ole Miss football games, and building a really sweet community here in Oxford. He got down on one knee at Rowan Oak, a place where we had shared many walks and laughs over the years.

God has been ABUNDANTLY kind and gracious to Jared and me. It is by His mercy and love alone that we have come to know and love each other over these years. We have Him to glorify, and also our wonderful Oxford community to thank, for a relationship filled with so much sweetness and joy. I, for one, know that I am a better woman because of the Christ-like love that Jared has shown me. We cannot wait to walk alongside each other towards Christ and His Kingdom, hand in hand, for the rest of our lives!
