HOW HE PROPOSED

About once a month I plan a "date day" where I get Daniel to myself for a day of quality time. Since I had planned the last couple he said he wanted to plan the next one. That should have been my first red flag. On October 8th, I woke up early to clean the house before we had friends over the next day. Daniel walked in and saw me washing dishes in my pajamas and I guess he was super nervous that we would be behind schedule for the day. I got ready quick, probably too quick if I knew he was going to propose that day. Then we drove to our first stop.

[First Stop] We ate breakfast at a little hole in the wall, where Daniel scarfed down his food to make up for lost time.

[Second Stop] We drove to Wedding Day and Jared to look at rings together. Little did I know he had a ring in the car with him all along. He's gotten asked a couple of times what would have happened if I found a ring at one of those places that I liked more than the one we had talked about.. bold move babe, bold move.

[Third Stop] We grabbed coffee and ran over to Pine Tree Apple Orchard. It was either strategic or coincidental but we had gone to an apple orchard on our first date. After eating lots of unpaid for apples, snapping pics with the selfie stick, and getting lost in the corn maze we headed to our final stop.

[Fourth Stop] Off to Stillwater we went, however, little did Daniel know it was their towns "Lumberjack Days" so it was a zoo. We walked in and out of shops, and then hiked up one of the big staircases overlooking Stillwater. At the top of the stairs he pulled me over to a grassy area and in his own clever or corny way [whichever way you look at it] he asked me to pose for a picture so my back was toward him. When I turned around he was on one knee telling me the ways he loved me and asked me to be his forever. <3<3

[Final Stop] I guessed the last part of our date day, which was a fancy dinner with our families downtown. He still had one surprise saved up because as I recounted the days events to our families I mentioned that I was bummed we didn't have pictures of our engagement. At that same moment Daniel's sisters extended an envelop of photos, as they said "you mean these?!"

Well done babe, I love you forever.
