Hi Family + Friends!

If you're traveling to Maine to join us on our wedding day, we're so excited + feel truly blessed you're making the trip! We hope this section of our website will help you with your travel plans. Whether you're just coming for the day or planning on spending the weekend (or who knows, a week in Maine in the summer is always a good idea!), here's a few things we'd like to share with you:

1. Lodging: We have blocked out rooms in a couple hotels in the area (one in Rockport near the Olsen residence, and one in beautiful downtown Camden which is only a town over from Rockport -- please see our next section for more information). If neither of those hotels interest you (or they get filled up), we wanted to provide you with a list of some of our recommended hotels/inns in the midcoast Maine area:

-Cedar Crest In, Camden
-Grand Harbor Inn, Camden
-16 Bay View Hotel, Camden
-Inns at Blackberry Common, Camden
-Hampton Inn, Thomaston*
-Berry Manor Inn, Rockland*
-LimeRock Inn, Rockland*

All of these hotels are approximately 15-20 minutes from our wedding venue (Harmony Hill Farm) in Warren. There are plenty more to choose from, these are just a few!
If you are familiar with TENTRR and you like camping... there is a site right next door to Harmony Hill Farm!
In addition, there are plenty of "Airbnb" opportunities in surrounding towns.

2. Transportation: we will not be providing transportation to and from Harmony Hill since everyone will be staying at various locations and our ceremony and reception are located at the same venue. There is plenty of on-site parking at Harmony Hill!

3. Things to do in Maine: there are various fun things to do if you have extra time while visiting us! Here are a few of our favorite things to do during the summer in Maine:
-As mentioned, the "lobster festival" will be occurring during the weekend of our wedding. This is a really fun and popular event that people from all over travel to. Here's a link with all the information: Maine Lobster Festival
-Beach it! Lincolnville Beach, Rockport Harbor, Laite Beach, and Birch Point State Park are just a few of our quaint + beautiful beaches near us.
-Eat. Some of our favorite restaurants are: Long Grain, Flatbread, Sea Dog, Waterfront, Cafe Miranda, Home Kitchen Cafe, Ada's Kitchen, Whale's Tooth Pub, and Bagel Cafe.
-Shop. Definitely check out both of the downtown areas of Camden and Rockland while you're here!
