Our Wedding

We’ve known each other for as long as we can remember. Growing up in the same circle of friends, we spent our high school days at the movies, shopping, and enjoying the beach together. Even when university took us to opposite sides of the country, we stayed close - chatting every day without fail. Our friendship was always strong, and in 2018 it naturally evolved into something more. Friends often joked that we’d end up together, and finally, the timing was right. In early 2021, we started a new chapter when MJ moved to Copenhagen for a new work opportunity and to pursue his love of travel. Although I couldn’t join right away, we managed the long distance until I first visited later that year. My first impression of Copenhagen in winter wasn’t great, but a summer trip in 2022 changed everything. I fell in love with the city - and decided to make the move to join MJ. Since then, we’ve shared incredible adventures: settling into our first apartment, making new friends, exploring our careers, and travelling across Europe together. One of our favourite destinations has always been Paros, Greece. During our first trip there in 2022, we shared an unforgettable sunset dinner by the water - one of the best we’ve ever enjoyed together. In that moment, MJ knew that this was the setting where he would one day propose. Two years later, as the sun set once more over Paros, that’s exactly what he did. It was absolutely perfect. We are so incredibly grateful for the chapters we’ve already written together - and now, we can’t wait to begin the next one, surrounded by all our favourite people.

We're delighted to share that accommodation will be available for all our guests, either on the beautiful Montpellier property or at neighbouring farms. We’ll take care of the bookings to keep things simple and stress-free. Your stay will cover both Friday and Saturday nights, so there’s no need to search for your own place. We’ll handle the room allocations to make sure everyone is comfortable (don’t worry - we won’t put you with strangers!). We’ll be in touch closer to the time to coordinate the details and collect payments directly from guests. If you'd prefer to stay elsewhere - perhaps at a hotel or Airbnb nearby - just let us know, and you're more than welcome to make your own arrangements! We do recommend booking sooner rather than later, as the Cape tends to be quite busy around Easter.

What to wear

Ladies, think bright and breezy! We’d love to see you in midi or maxi dresses that bring a splash of color to our joyful day. Remember, some parts of the celebration will be on grass, so you might want to swap those stilettos for something a bit more lawn-friendly.Gents, it’s time to suit up! We’re aiming for dapper, so a suit is your best bet. Ties are optional, but sneakers are a no-go. A blazer and smart pants will have you fitting right in.
