It was a beautiful summer night. From across a crowded room, Brandon and Hannah made eye contact and both knew that they had found the one…. Just kidding! We met on a dating app! Maybe not the most romantic of beginnings, but I’d like to think it turned into a romance for the ages. It started with a simple conversation that turned into up to 4 hour long FaceTime calls every single day for two weeks! I can’t even remember what we talked about during those calls, but I do remember thinking that this might be something really special.

I remember our first date, I had a double eye infection with puffy, red eyes, yet when Brandon called me beautiful that night, he truly meant it. He showed up with a dozen red roses (immediate bonus points), and we played games at Malibu Jacks for hours. He held my purse during mini golf, not caring how silly he looked, and when I was so disappointed that we couldn’t win a stuffed animal in the claw game, he had a surprise waiting for me in the car. That’s right folks, this man, knowing how badly I wanted to win a stuffed animal, brought a backup one to surprise me with, and I was sold. At the end of the date, we stood awkwardly in the parking lot as I stared at him in silence. Finally, he asked me what I was doing and I said I was thinking about something. “Okay, I’ve decided” I said. “I’m going to let you give me a kiss.” And with a sweet little peck on the lips, so ended the best date of my life.

You could say it was history after that. Ever since, we’ve continued to fall more in love with each other and can’t imagine life without one another. I’m so glad to have met the love of my life and I know we’re both beyond excited to share the rest of ours together.
