Cabo San Lucas, in particular, this resort, was a very special place to Hannah's late father, Mark. Every year, for 20+ years, Mark and his wife, Melanie, would gather their closest family and friends for a trip to celebrate their anniversary. As the years went on, it became a sacred place to Mark where he and all his loved ones were able to come, celebrate love, enjoy friendship, and live life to its fullest extent. Since he is unable to be part of this day here on earth, it only felt right to have the wedding in a place where his presence will be felt all over.
DO I NEED A PASSPORT?
Since this is an international wedding, everyone traveling to Mexico will need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. This means your passport must be valid until at least April 2025. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to double check the expiration date. If you do not already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. Passports normally take 2-3 months to process. We suggest applying a minimum of 6 months in advance as a precaution.
DO I HAVE TO STAY AT THE RESORT?
Yes! We ask that you stay at the resort so you can partake in all wedding related activities with ease. The resort is a "closed" site. Those who stay elsewhere will only have access to the resort 30 minutes before the wedding and have to leave 30 minutes after it ends. There is a $200 off-site fee per person incurred for Ryan and Hannah for those who stay elsewhere.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY ROOM?
We recommend booking your room as soon as you know you'll be joining us, but no later than August 7th! There are a set amount of rooms reserved for our guests at a discounted rate. There are also other weddings and guests at the resort so book early to get your desired room type and dates.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO RSVP?
The deadline to RSVP is August 1st, 2024. This is also when the room block closes.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE IN CABO?
We recommend arriving no later than Friday November 8th, giving you plenty of time so you can join us at the Welcome Bonfire that evening!
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?
Cocktail attire is appropriate. Ladies, I recommend a block heel as the ceremony will be on grass and the reception will be on cobblestone. We request no jeans, please
HOW DO I GET TO THE RESORT FROM THE AIRPORT?
Great question! Renting a car is not necessary. We have set up a transportation link for our guests to make the travel process as stress free as possible. Please see the transportation tab for more information!
