Our Wedding

Despite being born and raised in Placer County and growing up in the same school district, Chris and Hannah never met each other until after high school. In July of 2018, he asked her out on a movie date. It was hard to get to know each other during the movie, so after they drove to a lookout and talked all night. The date went so well that the next day Hannah showed one of her best friend's Jordan, a picture of Chris and told her, "This is who I am going to marry!". After their first date, Chris and Hannah talked every day and saw each other whenever possible. Less than 2 weeks later, Chris asked Hannah to be his girlfriend, and they spent every moment they could together since then. After dating for 6 months, Hannah moved in with Chris. They were planning a long trip where they'd live in their converted school bus and travel to all the U.S. National Parks in February of 2021. Instead, they decided to buy their first home together in July of 2021, and have lived there ever since with their 2 adorable dogs, Sophie and George. On Christmas 2024, Chris surprised Hannah with a trip to Maui. The trip was planned for the last week of January in 2025. The second day of the trip, Chris booked a helicopter tour. While on the tour, it stopped on a secluded and serene part of the island. The two of them were encouraged to walk the grounds and explore the area. Chris and Hannah walked to the edge of the ocean and around the property, and then he guided her to a spot of shade underneath a palm tree. That's where he got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?". Without any hesitation, Hannah said yes and jumped into Chris's arms. They spent the rest of their trip feeling pure love, joy, and excitement for this next chapter of their lives.
