Air Travel Recommendations
We highly recommend for air travel departing on the 26th of December since it will take a day to fly. Jet lag usually takes a day to acclimate to the new timezone. (A rest day on the 27th before the wedding on the 28th) There are direct flights to Naples with Delta, American, and United.
Transportation from the Airport to Hotels
You can either take a taxi or Uber to the hotels! All the hotels are within walking distance (100 meters) from each other. Americans can reserve a rental as well but driving is highly discourage. (Italians are aggressive drivers)
Day of the Wedding Transportation
During the day of the wedding, there will be a bus for all guests departing to the Cathedral at 1100 at Grand Hotel Vesuvio. It will be a 30 minute ride to the Cathedral. That same bus will depart from the Cathedral to the hotels at 1:30 (13:30) after the Ceremony.
The Hotels
You do not need to stay at these hotels but we recommend these ones since they will be walking distance to the reception at Grand Hotel Vesuvio.
Grand Hotel Vesuvio (€435 per night)
This is the hotel where the reception will be and where Patrick and Hannah will be staying. Lovely place however, THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE HOTEL.
Grand Hotel Santa Lucia (€290)
This hotel very nice and on the water. It is only 20 meters from the Grand Hotel Vesuvio.
Royal Continental Hotel (€195)
Only 40 meters from the hotel. Great pricing and location. However, it is a little dated.
Partenope Relais (€220)
A great price hotel. Very nice quality. It's about a 400 meter walking distance to the Grand Hotel Vesuvio. The walk itself to the hotel is on the boardwalk overlooking the water.
