We met at Lipscomb University during our undergrad and became fast friends. Hannah was studying Psychology and Ayo Applied Mathematics

We spent time getting to know one another, hung out and went on hikes together! We knew we liked each other at this point but somehow the time was never quite right.

After graduation, we reconnected over our shared love for climbing and decided to get coffee. Talking and being in each other’s company came so easy it was like we carried on immediately where we left off. Ayo was so enamored he asked Hannah on a date and she said yes!

For our first date we went to see Toy Story 4 at a local theatre, Ayo didn’t want the night to end so he asked Hannah if she wanted to go to a karaoke bar. It was so loud we had to pass notes to each other. It was also here we had our first kiss and decided to go on this journey together.

We both decided to go to grad school. Hannah joined the PA program at Harding University and Ayo enrolled at UTD get his masters in supply chain. this was the beginning of our long distance phase in our relationship. Before that though we drove down west for a week and got to see the grand Canyon

After a tough 2 years and a bit, Hannah and Ayo successfully Completed their programs and moved back to Tennessee. It was great to not have to travel 5-9 hours to see each other anymore.

The best and most wonderful day in Ayo’s life. He finally made the leap and asked Hannah for her hand in marriage. She said yes!

If everything goes well, With our family and friends in attendance, we will be married at the Melrose Church and be come Mr & Mrs Yahaya.
