It all began with a swipe on Hinge. We met on Hinge, and bonded on Hannah’s love for the Packers and Aaron Rodgers (before the ayahuasca). Our first date was at Hank’s Oyster Bar on the Wharf in DC—what was meant to be a quick cocktail turned into five hours of conversation, laughter, and that unmistakable feeling that something was different. (If you want the funny stories from those first few dates, just ask—we promise they’re entertaining.) Over the past four years, we’ve traveled the world, discovered new places, built friendships, and shared countless everyday moments that mean the most. Each adventure, big or small, has brought us closer together and led us to this next step: marrying our best friend and love of our life. The Proposal What seemed like a normal Saturday—meeting neighbors to watch a playoff football game—turned into the best surprise. Cam had a different plan in mind. Instead of heading to the game, he parked down by the waterfront in Alexandria. The whole area was blanketed in snow, and as we walked by the water, he revealed we weren’t meeting anyone after all. That’s when he proposed. It was quiet, beautiful, and perfectly us. (And yes, Cam even came prepared with Vaseline on standby in case the ring didn’t fit - another funny story, just ask!)
