Cayucos is a teeny-tiny beach town about 30 minutes up the coast north of San Luis Obispo—roughly halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles (about four hours from either). Think: one stoplight, salty air, toes-in-the-sand vibes. The water is refreshingly cold, so bring your suits/wetsuits (also available to rent, if you'd prefer not to lug a wetsuit!) and take a dip—or skip the splash and hunt for treasures in the town’s three beloved antique shops. Ten minutes south is Morro Bay, a slightly bigger beach town where you can explore more antique shops, walk around the waterfront, and stroll around iconic Morro Rock… which also happens to be where we got engaged 💍. Craving a bit more bustle? Head back to San Luis Obispo for shopping and wandering. No matter what, expect serious rest, relaxation, and prime beach time.

You will fly into San Louis Obispo (SLO) airport, which is about 30 minutes from Cayucos. Uber is not accessible in Cayucos. Please plan on renting a car.

As soon as possible! Cayucos is a charming but small town, and accommodations fill up quickly. Booking early will help ensure you’re close to the festivities. Be sure to check out the “Accommodations” section of our website for our recommended places to stay.

Cayucos would be the most convenient, but Morro Bay is about 10 minutes away and would be another option for accommodations! If both Cayucos and Morro Bay hotels are fully booked (unlikely, since there are so many to choose from), feel free to contact Hannah and/or Byron for more recommendations.

We love your little ones, but unless specified on your invitation, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Please check your invitation — if it says “and guest,” we’d love for you to bring someone special. We will not be able to accommodate any extra guests due to venue constraints.

Seating begins at 3:30pm. The Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm - Please allow yourself time to park and be seated prior to 4:00pm.

There is limited parking available for about 25 cars at the main venue. Overflow parking can be found up the hill, approximately a quarter mile away. We kindly encourage carpooling to make it easier for everyone (and to save a little walking!).
