Dear Friends and Family,

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the painful but necessary decision to limit the size of our in-person wedding. However, while we are limited in size physically, we would still love to celebrate with you even if it is not in person. We will be recording our ceremony and posting it on our website so that you can still be a witness to our marriage. Additionally, we will be having a quick Zoom call so that we can see your faces and celebrate with friends and family who are not able to be with us in person!

While we would cherish having your physical presence at our wedding, we are eagerly looking forward to making our vows on September 12 in front of God in an intimate group of friends and family. We know that September 12 merely starts the beginning of our lives together, the first steps of a journey that will undoubtedly have many disappointments and celebrations.

We know that the most important part of our wedding day will be hearing the message of God’s covenantal love for His bride, the Church, and then making our covenantal vows to one another before God and witnesses as a reflection of the Greater Marriage of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). This has given us great peace as we move forward. We hope and pray that even though many of the significant people in our lives will not be able to physically attend that we will have your prayers as we move into this new season of life.

We are sad that we are not able to be together in person like we would have wanted but look forward to celebrating with you in person at some point in the future! We appreciate each one of you and the impact you have had in our lives. Despite the difficulties of planning a wedding during a pandemic, we enter this season eagerly looking forward to what the Lord will do. We know that God is sovereign over all things, including this pandemic, our wedding, and our future and we are trusting Him in this season. We can’t wait to start our lives together and we can’t wait to enjoy it with each one of you.

At 4:00pm Mark's brothers (Doug and Greg) and Hannah's maid of honor (Bobbie) will be welcoming people on the call and then we will jump on shortly afterwards so we can say hello to you all!
