Holly Schweikert Title: Maid of Honor Extraordinaire About Me: Hi, I'm Holly! The girl in the chicken hat? Yep, that’s me. I'm the younger sister of the bride. Known for my unmatched ability to strike a pose anywhere, anytime. Whether I’m rocking a poultry-inspired accessory or oversized shades. I’m the bride’s partner-in-crime, hype woman, and lifelong wingwoman (pun intended). Special Skills:     •    Can flawlessly coordinate a bachelorette party timeline and a group selfies at the same time.     •    Fluent in sarcasm, sentiment, and witticism.     •    Master in the art of crochet. Dare I say, my skills are off the hook.

Jack is both my cousin and my best friend. Although we’ve known each other our entire lives, our bond truly grew over the past eight years through our shared love of FIFA, Premier League soccer, Coldplay, and all things sports. Jack has been a constant source of support, loyalty, and laughter, and I’m honored to have him stand beside me as my Best Man on such an important day.

Bridesmaid: Kimberly (AKA Head of Plumbing & Problem Solving) Hi, I’m Kimberly – Hannah’s older sister, which means I’ve had a front row seat throughout her entire life. From the potty-training meltdowns, to the braces-and-bad-bangs era, to learning to drive, I’ve seen it all, and I definitely remember it all too well. Hannah and I share a love for traveling, nursing, live music, and relaxing. One of my favorite memories (pictured above) was going to the Eras Tour together and singing the night away. (If you’re wondering, I might also be singing my way through this wedding… you’ve been warned.) I met Luke through our Crossing small group, and despite our many differences (something he never fails to point out), we’ve built a strong and meaningful friendship. Whether we're playing pickleball, going for walks, joining a volleyball game, or just "existing," we always find ways to enjoy time together. Luke has a unique way of challenging me to grow—mentally, spiritually, and personally—and I’m grateful for the role he’s played in my life and honored to have him as part of the wedding party.

Bridesmaid: Emily (aka Chief Snack and Tissue Officer) Hi, I’m Emily, the bride’s sweet, thoughtful, and kindhearted sister (at least that’s what they tell me!). I’m always ready with a smile, a helping hand, and just the right words when they’re needed most. On the big day, I’ll be the calm in the chaos and the one making sure my sister actually eats something between all the hugs, photos, and dancing. Special Skills:     •    Master of last-minute fixes (from bouquets to busted zippers).     •    Keeper of tissues and emergency snacks.     •    Expert at making sure the flower girls deliver a flawless performance.     •    Chocolate connoisseur (yes, I will 100% judge the dessert table).     •    Sourdough bread maker extraordinaire (I believe carbs are love).

I met Toby through the Crossing, and our friendship took off in a pretty unexpected way—when I was looking for a roommate and reached out to him for help, he ended up needing one too. Since then, we’ve shared countless late-night conversations about life, relationships, and sports. We both started dating around the same time, which gave us even more to talk (and laugh) about. One thing Toby has always delivered on: getting me into Mizzou games for free. I’m thankful for his loyalty, honesty, and friendship—and couldn’t be happier to have him by my side on the big day.

Bridesmaid: Kendra (aka Chief Sass Officer) Hey there, I’m Kendra! I have bragging rights of being one of the bride’s oldest and closest friends. From Sunday school as kids all the way to graduating high school together, we go way back. I’m honored to be a part of her life and cheer her on while she excels at her career, takes care of her adorable pets and now celebrates her beautiful wedding day. Special skills: • Master communicator, aka: I can talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. • Fluent in sarcasm and retorts. • The person to have in your bridal party if you like jokes that cause either laughter or eye-rolls. It’s a 50/50 chance either way, honestly.

Matias has been one of my closest friends since high school, and we've managed to stay connected through every chapter of life—even after he moved all the way to Finland. Despite the distance and time zones, we never lost touch. We even figured out a way for us to meet up when I was in Europe. Our conversations still revolve around soccer, life updates, and his ongoing love for Pop-Tarts. Having him as part of the wedding party means a lot, and it’s a reminder of how strong and lasting true friendship can be.

Bridesmaid: Angela (aka The Homestead Heroine) Hi, I’m Angela. Proud older sister of the bride, self-proclaimed homesteader, and caretaker of children, goats, and chickens (yes, in that order… most days). When I’m not wrangling livestock or refereeing snack time, you can find me flexing my sourdough starter skills or showing off my goat-milking technique (which, for the record, is top-tier). Special Skills:     •    Can milk a goat before most people finish their morning coffee.     •    Professional gardener (if it grows, I’ll grow it).     •    Sourdough whisperer - my starter has more personality than most reality TV stars.     •    Multi-tasking queen: child on one hip, chicken under one arm, bridesmaid bouquet in the other.

I met Jacob during medical school, though fun fact—I was actually friends with his wife before I got to know him. Over time, we became great friends in our own right. From making our first “super” together (a med school rite of passage) to swimming countless laps and watching games, we’ve shared a lot of good memories. I’m glad to have him as part of the wedding party.

Bridesmaid: Abby (AKA - The Tent-pitching prodigy and DIY Daredevil) Hi, I’m Abby! Hannah and I have been friends for years. We bonded over Bible Quizzing and a shared love for traveling. One special memory of Hannah and I includes an unforgettable speed boat adventure through Mexico. Picture us hanging on for dear life, laughing the whole way while the driver continues to say “?!una mas!?” When I’m not planning our next trip, you can usually find me hiking trails or tackling a home remodel project (yes, I actually enjoy power tools). Special Skills:     •    Hiking expert & trail guide     •    Home remodeling queen     •    Spontaneous travel partner     •    Storyteller of our wildest adventures I can’t wait to celebrate this day and add another unforgettable chapter to our adventures together!

I met Clark through his brother Luke, and our friendship grew during my M4 year. Clark and I started getting lunch together regularly, and those conversations quickly became something I looked forward to each week. We covered everything from my daily boredom to the impressive way he wired his entire house into a smart home. Clark has always been kind, supportive, and a great listener, and I’m grateful for the steady friendship he’s offered throughout the years.

Bridesmaid: Gabrielle (Aka: The Call-Don’t-Text Queen) Hi, I’m Gabrielle (one of Hannah’s sisters)! Growing up, we bonded over paper dolls and endless stacks of books, and yes, I fully admit to having a secret stash of books hidden in random places so that she couldn’t find them. A reader’s gotta do what a reader’s gotta do. These days, I’m an animal lover through and through. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs… if it’s furry and cute, I’m obsessed. I’m also the type of person who will just call you instead of texting, because some things deserve to be said out loud (and probably with a laugh). Special Skills:     •    Book hoarder turned book recommender.     •    Expert at pet snuggles and animal trivia.     •    Professional phone-caller in a world of texters.

I met Jordan about four years ago through movies, Briggs, and Jack, and we’ve been good friends ever since. From countless competitive pickleball matches to winning a flag football championship together, we’ve shared a lot of great moments. We’ve also spent plenty of time watching movies and making road trips to Kansas City to visit Briggs and watch movies. Jordan brings energy, humor, and loyalty to every friendship, and I’m grateful to have him standing with me on this special day.

I met Briggs through Jack, and our friendship started with a shared love of movies. Over time, those movie nights turned into deeper conversations about life, sports, and everything in between. Even after he moved to Kansas City, I made trips to visit and to catch a movie or two. Briggs has always been someone I can count on for a good conversation and steady support, and I’m grateful to have him as part of the wedding party.
